landed about 2 hours ago

met milehigh at pinkfloyd

picked up john sinclair nyc diesel and mexican haze 1g of each

nycd very shit ,the worst version of nycd ive had in years

johnsinclair very diferent from what was being offered at the cup,this version was a litle hazy a nice buzz but was not all that

the mexican was the best of the bunch but not all that,il report back on it in a bit

thanks for stopping by

next i headed to the indica shop in harlem
picked up amnesia haze and laughing budda

the amnesia haze had a strong buzz to it but not a very nice taste to me
i am big on flavours
i love strength but there has to be good flavour there for me to enjoy
the laughing had a beter flavour to me and a good buzz to also
i prefered the laughing budda
from there i was looking for some food to eat as we(me and my two brothers)hadnt eaten anything,we couldnt find anywhere so jumped on train and headed to barneys for some food and weed and hash
had the irish breakfast with a milkshake(they have the best milkshakes)
picked up the g13haze willie nelson and cheese and half a g of helter skelter for sampling the g13haze smoked ok but prety lacking for a so called winning entry, nice buzz but didnt burn well or taste good,it had a mild hazy taste at best(this shit was 14 euro a g what a joke)
willie nelson was prety much the same nice buzz but seriously lacking in flavour,13 euro
then the cheese,the only good tasting weed out of the 3,i wishi would of bought 3 g 's of cheese,it wssnt the strongest but it taste good and why buy shit tasting weed
havent tryed the helter skelter but will do soon
then headed to grey area picked up 2g's of chocolope and nevil something haze,the chocolope was seriously lacking compared to their usual green but the guy said there was some problems(whatever man the guys there are very nice dudes and normaly have the best weed in town so everyone can have a bad month)
the nevils was a heavy hazy taste with a heavy hazy buzz,this was the beter out of the 2 by far
also just picked up 2g's diesel(nyc)and 1g lavender from resin
havent smoked yet but will report back
no camera with me so no pics just reports
also i must recomend the indica apartment lovely place and very cheap price compared to most
this looks like my new place to stay

fell asleep yesterday about 7pm,it was a long day(its never a good idea to have a ly down you never get back up)the nycd diesel i picked up yesterday was beter than first nyc i tried from floyd(dampkring)but still not the stinky nycd i fell in love with years ago
soma if your reading where is your stinky ass nycd
also the lavender i tried was nice and i was happy with this buy mayve even head back for more they were both from the resin
if anyones knows of anything good to try write it down and il check it out
i definately hit bluebird looking for the nevs also katsu amnesia and the harlem's finest

check out the noon for some blueberry!! they are supposed to have a great stock of it right now, one of the best in a while.. check it out..

also check out stix coffeeshop, they normally have some nice stuff, and great hash if your interested in that. the also have "gunpowder" which is kif basically.

on my last visit i also noted getting some great tasting herb at hunters/coin. I purchased mk ultra, mango madness, and white widow... all were tasty and very smooth burning.

I've done the early night thing a few times myself too, like ojd says, if you go for a liedown, you won't get up. Happened to me at the first night of this year's 420 cup, had to go for a liedown at 8.30, woke up at midnight ravenously hungry and set off in search of a good chinese restaurant (which wasn't hard as my hotel was next to the Leidseplein)

I totally agree about the Alegria and Acapulco Gold, I was in Amsterdam a half dozen times this year and spent a lot of time in the Dampkring, largely for the lovely Acapulco, and their other buds were all pretty good too, and the hash choices are good and cheap.

Best weed I bought recently in the Dam was some Diesel from Dutch Flowers. Very large, swollen calyxes, very pale buds, lots of frost, tasted like lemons on overdrive (I remember telling ojd about this at the Cup and he said 'Yup, that's Sour Diesel') had a lovely sativa buzz and an all-round warm mellow effect, would love to have a cut of that Diesel.

I loved the Lavender from Amnesia I had in February, but last couple of times I've been to Amnesia, the weed wasn't as good, I got some Lavender last time there that I think was sweettooth as it had the rich earth berry taste and was very like the SWT#3 I grew myself.

Yellow Cab from the Grey Area is always a decent choice, very, very tasty and a lovely heady buzz, but not the most potent, but the taste is delicious, like apples and oranges with some sour lemon and lime notes too.

Apart from that I can't remember any other stand-outs, I'll definitely buy some more Acapulco Gold and that Diesel from Dutch Flowers next visit, but I'm thinking of giving Amsterdam a miss altogether and staying in Haarlem next time. Last time I was in Haarlem, it was a shitty rainy day and I only went in two places, but bought some Power Plant for 7 euros in the first that was better than any of the Super Silver Hazes and other sativas I'd tried in Amsterdam that week, and in the second I bought some lovely sticky Jamaican outdoor for only 4 euros and some Haze (it was just labelled as Haze, but was probably Neville's or NL5/Haze as it was a nice chunky bud) that was the most expensive thing on the menu (14 euros) and the dealer tried to talk me out of buying as he reckoned most of the tourists that buy it end up chucking a whitey in his coffeeshop 5 minutes later. I liked it a lot cos it turned my brain into a block of ice right away and I could feel the blood pulsing round my temples, by the time I'd finished the first joint it was like my brain cells had formed a conga line and were doing the cha-cha-cha round the inside of my skull. He was amused when I wanted to buy another 5g of it before I left, at first he said 'you haven't smoked all of the gram you bought yet' so I whacked the rest of the first g on the counter and started crumbling it up and he laughed and weighed me up 5g. Can't remember the name of the shop, it was tiny and I only went in cos they had a sign in the window listing different kinds of toasted sandwiches and I was cold and hungry. I borught that 5g sack home and customs stopepd me, it was in my suitcase and they just took it and made me sign a little piece of paper that was just a receipt to acknowledge they had taken 5g from me. The ginger skinny customs prick picked it up between thumb and forefinger and said 'there is some herbal cannabis here' I replied 'whoops, forgot that was there' and he just looked at me coldly then said 'I will have to take this away and weight it'. He disappered into another room and came back after a couple of mins and said 'it's less than 28g so no offence has been committed, I will just take a photocopy of your passport and it will be kept on record here for 6 months'.

Bastards have stopped me twice since and found nothing, but it makes me nervous these days! lol

update fro my previous buys

the willie wortels sativa"s power ice was not the greatest but very cheap at 15 euro's and still worth the money giving a nice buzz,no amazing flavour hear but for 15 euro what do you expect
the nepalese hash had a great nepalese flavour and a strong buzz,good buy and very cheap
then birdy's, im not sure if it was nycd il check back later,but the weed was ok nothing to shout about,but the jelly hash was good quality and excellent price,a must buy if your in harlem,they also do a deal 3 bags of hash or weed for 25 euro 10 euro each,very good deal
next the greenhouse,i was surprised at the green house the bud wsnt amazing or anything but definately beter,the arjan ultra hay 1 had a litle bit of a sweet haze flavour to it and a decent buzz,the diesel and the alaskan ice was ok
next grey area the grey diesel was ok but the lemon skunk was awful,very bland with no flavour
katsu,black widow was a sativa leaning pheno with a nice buzz and quite nice taste not full flavoured but nice,the other bag i forgot but will go back today and update
media coffeshop,this has been 1 of the best this coffeshop,i got the nycd and the hindu kush,they were both very cheap,1.5g for 11 euro;s i think, the diesel was nice basicly the same as the other 5-10 other diesels i tried but nearly half the price, nice taste and buzz(still not the ultimate nycd but the best overall
hindu kush,had a lovely flavour to it kind like a strong orange bud taste but slightly diferent very good with a strong indica buzz to follow
next to barneys, the barney ruble was 1 of the shitest iceolators ive tried looks very sticky like jelly but not half as sticky, when smoked the flavour was not a nice taste more of a plasticy kinda taste and a weak buzz follows,dam this shit is very expensive 40 something euro's what a waste of money(all of the rifmans hash in the damkring is alot beter and cheaper)the cheese was a nice flavoured smoke very nice
the damkring as i said before the acupulco gold and alegria are at the top of my list for buys and the riffman hash
i must also now add the 50 euro water work,i know it is crazy money ripp of and all that but it is the best iceolator in town that ive found hands down
lovely taste almost like you are smoking a very nice bud kinda sweet flavour
and a strong buzz to follow
