OGKush Vs Tomato

Smooth sailing now :smile:

Just gave the plants another flush with the res change yesterday, they seem to respond very well to this treatment. The OG is looking healthy. This is my first grow using GH nutes, and I'm using the "lucas formula" when mixing. I haven't noticed any burnt tips or deficiencies so far. If I can keep this up for the next 30 days or so I should have a few nice nugs to harvest .

So far I've taken one tomato from the plant... no flush at all so I'm a little curious how this will affect flavor. I doubt it'll kill me but in the off chance it does you'll know why I've stopped posting .

Anyway, on that postive note, thought I'd show a couple pics of progress.

Day 27 of flower and things are looking half decent. I guess this is roughly the 1/2 way point in flowering so well it's getting close now

They are growing everyday, and everytime I look in I just smack my lips and count one more day till they are done. The smell up till a couple days ago was pretty low, but they are starting up a little now. When you walk in the room you KNOW .

Well at least the grow is getting a little more visually interesting, my favorite time of the grow. In about 20 more days I'm hoping she will be a lot frostier and a bit more colorful. For now... get fat :smile:

Hummm, won't let me upload any pics right now , I guess there was some sort of hardware upgrade/migration. I guess I'll try again later.

Both plants are doing well. A whole bunch of tomatoes are starting to grow... but I think the OGKush is a little ahead. She's definitely making up about 70% of the canopy.

Well, here's a couple pics from the 27th days to today... day 33 of flower. Lookin forward to puttin this in my pipe and smoking it

I know, questionable yields are always a concern... but I'll get over it

I figure after the stunt I pulled at the very beginning, any bud I get out of this is a blessing and a gift.

This grow is going along very smoothly now. It's my 4th grow, and with the exception of almost killing the clone before I started, it's been the best grow I've experienced. I'm seeing a tiny bit of burning on some of the tips but nothing crazy like I've had in previous grows. I'm still a newbie grower and my setup isn't the most sophisticated, but it gives me results I can live with.

Anyway, hope all that reside in the US of A are having a great memorial long weekend.

Hello and good day

I was beginning to worry that they would never frost up... and well I'm still waiting for the heavy frosting. Starting to look tasty though... almost caught myself snipping off a lower bud to smoke but now is not the time.

And then I have to remind myself... only day 40. A few of the pistils have turned orange but they are mostly still white. I keep finding myself day dreaming about smoking these buds while I'm out and about.

The smell is VERY noticable now and I've had to modify the odor control a little... again.

Well, almost time to eat and well I thought I'd just snap a couple pics before the light came on. I hope they keep getting fatter and fatter

Don't worry lightningbud, they really pack on the weight and frost the last 2-3 weeks, as it is they already look tasty. Only way it could be better is if there were some red ripe maters on that vine.........

Hey guys, thanks for the positive comments

It's a crying shame we have to hide our hobby away from pretty much EVERYONE. I enjoy growing this plant so much, and it just kills me that I have to keep my mouth shut. If only I could just teach this to people around me freely and openly. But alas it is not so

In any event, I choose to grow it for my own use, and hot damn I can't wait to use this stuff . I haven't been checking the trics yet for clearness/cloudiness/amberness but I'll have to start soon. I've been told that this should be harvested when it's about 90 cloudy 10 amber or so... I guess we'll see.

One of the bigger buds is growing a "hump". Now I don't mind this one bit cause the bigger the "humps" get the happier I get The pistols are starting to turn orange now over the whole plant in general.

From dead to dank... this has been a ride.

Tomato eat report eh

Tasty and very flavorful . Unfortunately I didn't get much of a buzz off of em. Perhaps when I cooked them it destroyed anything that would have done the trick. I guess I'll have to dry some out and smoke it

I too had my doubts that this would grow. It was in a real sad state and I felt terrible. Now I'm having some sympathy for the tomato, but well not enough to do anything to help it over the OGKush. That's just crazy talk .

I should have tied up the branches on the OG, I can see it's leaning waaay over, especially the branches facing the tomato plant. The tops seem to still be putting on a little weight. Day 53 of flower and into its 4th day of flush. Planning on chopping her this weekend. Trics are all pretty much cloudy with some amber coming on. Frosting up real nice now, she seemed to have waited till the last 1/3 of flower to really pour it on.

Well, couple pics to take a peek at. I would love to have a microscope mounted with a digital camera... perhaps later... much later.
