OG KUSH (SFV Cut)

IMO, or I should say IME, The Socal O.G. Kush and SFV O.G. Kush are not the same strain. Yes the Socal O.G. is Lemon/Pinesol/Fuel, but SO is the SFV O.G. Kush, it IMO has less hairs, alittle more resinous, and Most Importantly, STRONGER in Potency than the SFV. Just My .02! Most people won't realize it's a different strain just think that it's a very well done batch. But its a slightly different animal but slightly different in all the right ways.
I was looking at mine last night.
And it has huge calyx's.
The top of the bud looks like a sativa version of Bubba.
The way it grows with those leaves that open up into a bunch of calyx's on the buds.
And the gaint calyx's as soon as they pop out ,they are huge.
Lots of crystals too for such any early stage of flower.
About 4 weeks in now. I'll get some pic's soon.

i second swerve's discussion on the ogkush from out west. the original(old mother) is much denser, thicker, frostier nugs. The taste from her is very much similar to the sfv as it carries the pinesol/lemony kush taste.The smell of the original ogk is the jar is just skunky as hell, i think it smells a bit more than the SFV.
The SFV on the other hand has that super zingy lemon pledge/pinesol aroma right when you smoke it/open the jar.. boom, it just hits you right in the face.. the herb carries over more of that same smell in the smoke. hope this helps.

jdog sound like the abusive to me. if they ahve huge stacked callyx's..sfv or real doesnt ahve a huge stackd callyx look
all i know is i ahve prob smoke more og than most peopl here or anywhere since i ahve lived and still live in the sfv and grow and smoke the og so i would knnow the difference and yes the real and sfv are very much the same thing just a little veriation between the 2. but anyone to say they arento related doesnt know sfv or even real og kush. sorry to say this.

A couple more dry...im thinkin it may be the abusive cut??????? Im smoking it and its VERY skunky/piney/lemon but not pinesol or fuel...its really potent as well, best in the garden for now.

Well,swerve it's a little early to tell.
But I have doubts that it's the Abusive cut.
I'm not sure where he's from.
But this cut came from SFV about 3 years ago.
I don't think the Abusive cut was around much at that time?

I took some pic's last night.
So maybe that will help.
Until it's later into flowering I figured why bother try to tell which it is.
I'll just brng you some of it when it's done and we can figure it out.

Just bigger then most strains with the classic Kush structure.
You'll see.
The calyx's are real spikey like the Bubba.
You know how they stick up at the top and turn purple on the tips.
Thats what my OG has.
But longer hairs then Bubba and more of a sativa influence.

The Abusive Version of the OGK has a Bud structure like the Bubba.......The SFV OGK doesnt have really big calyxes....I would say that they are small to medium...Towards the end of flowering they will swell up though...Havent ran the Original yet so i dont know...Peace.~ograskal

hmm interesting you say. i think i might know of the og your talking about jdog. yeah would ahve to see the nuggies but im sure i can identify it. lol i ahve no clue as to anything about this new purple kush. im sorry i ahve madd beef with that. i mean they couldnt even get a real pic without purple lighting to make it purple. plus the buds they did show were scragly pathetic looking things. nothing like my purple kush.. lol the shit in high times was a fake and is bs. chemdog should ahve won.

any real good Kush is not a big yielding herb i would say that the cost to grow kush is more than most compared to others. i just picked up an og kush clone nice sativa looking plant as far as cut gos i wouldnt know. when i flower it ill post some pics maybe you guys can shoot me some info on what you think. peace!
