"You do understand that there were only 25 entries hash incuded, and that most of the in house breeders here did not compete..."

I knew there were "reasons"........what?did April 20th sneak up on everyone this year?Or did everyone miss the anouncment?

Greenhouse and Soma beat the shit outta everyone,CHRIST.......the Euro's kicked everyones ass,not a US winner across the board!!
Unless ya count that special "breeder of the year award",lol

Here comes the TRASH talk, were all you guys try and take it away from Soma and Greenhouse,lol...

Red,my friend,I like you,but please,RELAX.
Soma's a good friend of mine,there's never been a stress between us,ever.
ghs will always be chasing Reservoir's coat-tails,I don't give a phuck how much cake arjay banks,or how many awards sit in glass cases, that isn't how I keep score.
I've already made Chemdog seedlines available, with more Authentic Chemdog due before year's end. I didn't enter the Chemdog Clone to rep it,because I don't need to,the results already speak loud & clear for themselves.
I hope that's easy to understand.
Anybody can succeed in any business if you have a solid business plan and buckets of money, but innovating takes a special skill-set. arjay's a great businessman, but lacks innovation.

One Love,y'all!

Ya can someone please explain who decided what was a sativa entry and whats an indica entry? ....Cuz if anything Chemd can be considered an indica dom cross if not indica......whats goin on with that? Congrats Soma....gee why no greenhouse SSH? DLB

I dont think its right to have the Clones win.I mean for a Co like GH(or any Co thats gonna put an IC Cup win next to the strain on the Web as if it was the seed that won and not the clone, will sell many seeds but wont be true to the seedline),they should have to use the CD seed stock.Cuz when people see the win, they think its what there gonna get in seeds, but not gonna happen, might be good but not the same, unless it was done from seed, but the timing would be cutting it too close..And pretty much all the genetics are from the US ,and just grown by others.Stil a great job by everyone.I was just referring to wins not being from seed stock but using the win as away to make more money and sell more beans, nothing wrong with entering a clone, just wrong to use it for makin money off seeds that arent or never will be pure CD,like the actual clone. There is no BS in the IC Cup though,so if you win,yer Meds were top notch period, they would have to be.

I dont want to be Mr party pooper but.....exactly how many entries were there for sativa and indica combined? From what I can make out of the winners list greenhouse entered approx. 20% of all strains that were judged. Its just playing the Law of Averages....throw enough of your own into the mix...and surely you should win something....not to mention the fact that GHS is one of the largest producers of combustibles in the A-Dam...It stands to reason that they should be able to find a few stellar ounces of bud from all that they produce. Big props to those who entered with no seed company affiliation. DLB

Lol... It was announced that there would be no cup... I made plans based on that announcement, Then conditions changed and The announcement was made that the cup was on less than 60 days before the date entries had to be in by...

Do you know anyone who can pull off a crop, dry it, and ship it a few thousand miles in under 60 days...

Geeesh... Get a life bro, stop being so bittter... GH won with a cut from the US, and Soma with a daughter of US bagseed... Why is stating Fact talking shit?

Soma is a GREAT grower, and the nycd cut he grows is a very good plant... you can buy it in alot of the shops in the dam...
I'm more than positive that the ownership of GHS did not grow their entry personally, but a good grower they employ most likely did...

I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone this year, although I will next year...

Now... Quit popping off with ignorant bullshit accusations, and smoke some herb...

"And I have a very hard time believing that properly grown chemdog was beaten out by nycd..."
A trusted friend on ICMAG told me it is a fake chemdog cut that brad gave/sold to arjan
Would make sense, as properly grown chemdog will absolutely top properly grown nycd, imho... Like I've said... I've smoked both cuts, and have a basis on which to form my opinion... I'ts just hard for me to believe, that's why I wanted to see the scoresheets... just curious which categories won it for the NYCD...

Without Soma is a top notch grower, and it is is skills that won for him, I'm sure...

If you want to complain about how many entries a givin' company enters then step up to the plate and send in an entry...Until that time stop worrying about it..
I would imagine next years cup is going to take one massive fucking step foreward!!!!
COUNT ON IT!!!!

I agree Capt... Next year we're going to step it up a notch, I think... I'd be willing to bet that now that certain external pressures have gone away, that the cup gets bigger and better each year...

.... or why Kushage is in p3 Sativas ?

Surely it would be better to have 3 categories, Sativa, Indica and Indica/Sativa with the first 2 categories being plants dominated by those characteristics ?

Likewise, entries from commercial organisations should be true representations of their wares, not something they bought on the open market like a certain recent cup winner's ice hash.

Probs to Soma for the wins.

Really nice samples. I hope post some pics soon.

I have to say that all samples are really great.

It´s a pity my english talk don´t let me meet us in Dam.

Hope next year!
