Anyone who wants to take on the awesome challenge of judging some of the planets' best cannabis & hash should be prepared to act quickly.

Awwww damnit Dutch!! Don't tempt me! This is tearing me apart with one side of me pokin' at my brain saying "come on dude...it's only $150, once in a lifetime, just do it..." and the other side remembering that i've been saving every penny just to prolong the backpacking experience...grrrr...
well before i give in to a moment of weakness, let me just ask again if there's any news on day pases? My big concern is whether or not i'll even get to meet and hang out with my fellow ogers and icmag folks. =( but i'm sure you'll all be around at the coffee shops, and i'll for sure be stoppin' by seedsdirect, and then there's TF's haze hunt, i'm defintely renting a bike for that!
Just one more question, what's the general introduction etiquette? It seems to me that everyone will be known as their user-names, but then that brought about the thought of security, and a face being so readily placed to the online persona. So are we on first name basis with the handles bein' mentioned but kept hush hush? I know when i walk in and see Dutchgrown for the first time i'm Sun DMC

well, personally as I don't know everybody's name and very few, maybe two at the most, know my own name, I'd like to hear people introduce themselves with their username, the name if you want to tell me is optional, but I have no problems saying my own . I'd hate like hell to get there, hang out with John Doe for three days of partying and then maybe find out in 5 years or so it was one of my best online buddies and I didn't even know it

well Bhodi, you seem like a real nice guy...you can take a look inside my goodie bag and if there's anything in there which tickles your fancy particularly we can fight over it for 5 minutes, then I'll give it to you with a smile :smile: I'm sure the day passes will be affordable, I know you're travelling on a budget, but it'd be a shame to go and not set foot in Fat City - even though there will be no end to IC buddies to party with to be found

awww blue! Seriously every time i'm browsin' icmag, posts by people like you just make me so happy to have found the cannabis community. It's like this amazing brother/sister-hood :wink: of unconditional love! Most everyone that i've met has taken on some sort of family role, be it brother, sister, mother or father (lots of father figures in the likes of BOG, CC, Smokey just to name a few) and above all lots of friends. Now gettin' to actually be in the presence of everyone will be so great, i think it's really gonna solidify some international connections. And i just feel so honoured to be included in some of the greatest things that happen inside our amazing underworld, test grows, elite clone offers, and this is only the beginning of a long-lasting love for this silly girl mary-jane!
On the topic of sharing and caring i think i remember it being mentioned that there was an address we could send our herb to, even if we aren't entering? Because i'd love to share with you guys some of my homegrown whitecloud x lavender. Absolutely the best smoke i've ever had..a very strong citrus/pepper smell and taste and the high is devastating hehe

I cannot express how overwhelmed i am by everyone's kindness right now! And there's defintely no smilie to do it justice so i'll try and convey it through words; this trip is an amazing journey i'm about to undertake, and all of you have made the kickoff such an incredible show! I am beyond excited right now, and there's still a month to go!!

LAst year we all worked with our nicks. I have no problem giving out my real name but I'm also used to people calling me Minister(In Spain the word has no religious meaning).
I'm probably going to stick with the nick calling unless someone asks me to use their real name
