Official 420 Growers & Breeders Cup 2008 Info

well finally I can relax and enjoy the cup for a bit
its been a hectic few days getting all the samples ready
but its finally done and i'm sure theres a few happy judges in the dam tonight
all the entrys were exeptional again this year. its going to be a hard job getting through that pack in 3 days

Your help, as usual, was paramount in getting the samples ready...for those who might not realize....OP has been working on the samples for the past 2-1/2 days...non-stop....correct me if I'm off a bit OP, but based on 25 entries being divided into 28 judges...that's means weighing out a gram of each cannabis and 1/2 gram of hash into a total of 700 samples, each blind numbered, and entered into the computer for ballot tallying on the 20th....that is noooo small task!

Time to party OP! Thank you for all your hard work!

OP, respects, 700 packets, if it was me , after the 7the I'd be out for the count, and in the end the judges would probably get about 0.5 grams of weed and 0.1 grams of hash...LOL

by the way OP, DG, it must be tough not having SB to hang out and meet like in the past, when I first saw hippie dave on youtube smoking in Seed Boutique with Gypsy, and a few other places like Nols, etc. etc., it got me seriously thinking of making the netherlands my vacation spot for the next....50 years I guess. And since I live in eastern europe its a 1.5 hour flight and costs around 100 EUR round trip

anyway, good luck to all the judges, most of you will all probably need it, because if all that smoke is as good as people on this site say it is, to smoke all that in 3 days is quite a task

will be in ams from 2-5 may, wish could meet some of you cool folks from icmag and have a blast just chilling in amsterdam's and haarlem's coffeeshops.

next year will buy my 420 cup judge pass for sure...just have to get my tolerance up by

may 2nd, 2008 will start by coming to amsterdam for four days and then by growing my own when get back home

IC mag rules and out of all the canna sites I have seen in the past two years definately has the best overrall structure...respect to whoever designed it and to you DG and GN for running it

anyway looking forward to all the pics from this year cup (probably along with another 50,000 anxious folks all over the world) bye for now

A smaller and more cosy event it has been so far.......with alot of interest from many growers and breeders.....

Just waiting for the judges to pass in their ballots so that we can get the computer programs info entered into it......then see who 'made the cut' as far as winning an award is concerned....

Had a great breakfast at The greenhouse coffeeshop on haarlemerstraat......and met many attendees of this years 4/20 Growers and Breeders Cup......25 total entries this year and in just a few hours we should have the final results...

Many thanks to Mila of the Pollinator Company and her staff who have been so helpfull so far.....

JLP's Cocoa Kush and Vanilluna have been well recieved as offerings(not entries) for all to toke on......as well as some Reservoir Sour Diesel IBL........Filled Mila's HUGH Hookah with some Amnesia 99 (Cindy'99 Pheno)(also courtesey of JLP) and got many 'off their faces" yesterday.....


So I'm off to collect ballots and get this years results worked out over the coming hours.......best wishes and good luck to all!

Can I just say a big thanks to DG and Gypsy for organising the event and many thanks for my pass!!!

Also a big thanks to Soma for that hash sample, but thankfully this year it didn't give me a whitey like last year, but I did have to leave the GH for a couple of minutes to get some air and cough a lung up! lOL
