George Obama, the half-brother of US President Obama was just arrested for possession of marijuana (bhang) in Kenya. Obama's brother lives in a slum in Nairobi and they have had little contact. George Obama was not invited to the inauguration of his brother.

Perhaps this event will take marijuana off the back burner for Pres. Obama and he'll finally do what his constituents have been demanding - decriminalize cannabis!

I have to agree that this news isnt going to change much for cannabis users. Not all people smoke, yet we all are considered criminals. Since Obama is here and George is in Kenya, I dont think it will mean anything for here or there if Obama helped. As decriminalizing... naw... this even wont do much...
