Just curious, is there any particular reason to reverse the Oaxacan moms and use them as the male instead of doing it with the green haze and reversing her?
I think its already this question, but I need to do.
Is on your plan make a s1 or open pollination or something whit Oaxacan in pure from?
Sorry again if is answer before.
And thanks for your work @dubi
A feminized open pollination of the 4 S1 selected female we keep must be done for sure @entonces at least for preservation purpouses (in case they lose too much vigor for a commercial release).

Once they are reversed, i would like to cross them with some of our best sativa mothers as pollen donors too @Cactus Squatter so many interesting projects in the pipeline!

I'm always so excited to grow anything with Oaxacan 79 in it. Right now I have a small O79 x Kali China in veg.

That floral, candy, honeysuckle perfume fragrance is what I am always after. And I like the more spindly plants as I could care less about yield.

Have you given any thought to using the absolutely superb Red Snake as the male and breeding back into the line? That way it would be invigorated from the Punto Rojo but give a decent chance of preserving the original terps.

Other than Red Snake, what other landraces would offer superior floral terpenes? Perhaps the Mexican leaning Honduras pheno?

Please keep us updated on the Oaxaca x Kali China @TexasTea :) this F1 came out very nice!

I think Panama (Goddess or green pheno) is the perfect match for a possible Oaxacan further inbreeding process.
Well Panama certainly chunks her up and is a fabulous cross which also makes her more powerful in effect. But I lost her floral and candy component somewhat in the one I grew. Actually wouldn't New Caledonia sativa be a nice match? Man I would love a Mexitutti-frutti! :)

This Oaxacan is by far the best overall Mexican we've had the pleasure to grow, try, and experience. I've tried other Mexican that was funnier and made me laugh non-stop (25 years ago), but didn't match this Oaxacan in other traits like resin production, terpenes, and cannabinoid quality.
I m growing Some mextiza ( aoxaca 79 clone× Népal jam)f2 since years at 49° north costal weather, a realy good strain , effects are realy in the sativa range , realy in the eyes and psychédélique.

A oaxaca cross like mextiza or Bangi ×oaxaca,or something like that will make me realy realy happy!!!

Is this Oaxacan something you'd ever release pure or linebred vs crossed to something else? I just purchased a good grip of your Oax x Panama regs in the hope to find some Oaxacan leaners!

Would love to have it pure. But otherwise New Caledonia sativa would be my #1 pick. Mextiza is another that I never got to try. It would be lovely to have a cross with Green Mountain Oaxacan Gold as well. The terpenes seem to be so floral in character that it would be nice to encourage that over anything else. Personally I think the Red Snake is some of the best weed I've ever grown, but it is weird that Ace does not have a Colombian in the catalog. :)

I hope you made some seeds with that plant. Resin stems like that usually go with exceptional herb, IME.
I did, yes indeed. Crossed with Red Snake. The first three plants were all males and I discarded them. The next four were all females but they had tons of stress nanners by the time they were done. Smoke is sort of sickly sweet so not my favorite. But the originals pictured above were delicious and were like smoking hash. I still have some left.
