Oaxaca 79

Here is my Oaxacan 79 x Panama fem in early flower that dubi was so kind to share. I'm pretty sure my one cutting has survived so I will see how this one turns out and try to keep her going. I also have seeds of O79 crossed with Kali China to test this fall, and some O79 x Malawi from another kind member to try in the fall as well. Many thanks!

Ripening slowly and having a reflowering. I have a Cryptic Oaxacan going alongside this plant and the two could be sisters...my cuts of both plants have survived so I will keep them going this summer.

Both the Cryptic Labs Oaxacan and Oaxacan 79 are capable of producing a pearly/airy pheno. Here is my own cross, my favorite pearly pheno Red Snake x Punta Cometa Oaxacan from Snow High. Smells very floral and hints of rose flavor in the smoke.

It would be nice to have the pure strain, but honestly the hybrids are terrific. I'm still keeping the O79 x Panama cut going. Just popped O79 x Kali China and am stoked to do a comparison.

And I just took down another Red Snake today, which is O79 x Punto Rojo...lastly, I also have a single plant that I just started which is O79 x Malawi Gold and that was a gift from a kind member here. Hoping the Malawi cross is a female! I have pollen saved from my previous O79 x Malawi male and I plan to hit each of these crosses with it going forward.

I not a pro like you but I like your thought of out crossing the select s1 females with males from something similar and then back-crossing select F1 males back to the s1 females You could take this several generation of crossing the s1 females back to the new males produced each time .just a thought

Yes, I agree. I intend to cross dynasty's cough bx3 to the A5, then backdrops a few timed. Using a proven NL5/haze back to the haze keeps it in the family

Well, that cross was only a test to see if there is something nice coming out by combine these two lines. Im just a small private grower who did a bit pollen chucking, not interested in Seed sales etc. I just gave out a few Seeds to a small cycle of people to test them. From the S1 Seeds i had only one Plant made it, which i've used in that cross. One Day i'll made some S2's, but again, im not in the Seed biz. Think there are people who wouldn't like to see them released. Both lines were just a Gift to me by others.
