The sour deez that i get resmbles this.....really white calyxes with little orange balls on the interior part of the nodes....orange/brown hairs and smells like shit,like it has a real lemon pledge smell...has really dark fan leaves. ....although the appearance of the sour fluctuates this could be related to ferts, soil vs. hydro, pheno's....its usually the smell and taste that i trust most....appearence is not my first priority

because i heard from someone that they thought the stuff i get wasn't legit......

Well if it is the "real" Sours, there is only one pheno because it is clone only. All the Sours I have smoked have been consistant in appearance, smell, taste and high.

After your description I am now convinced I must be smoking something else, especially since the Sours I am smoking do not smell anything like shit.

You will see that there are a few pheno's there is a west coast version , there are a few east coast versions......even the cannabible which is good toilette paper material will show you plenty of different pheno's.....what you guys probably been smoking is NYCD....because the Sour smells like hell,.....you cant walk around with the stuff...

The Sour's that I have been getting for the last few years is from the original clone, there is no other "pheno". Now there may be some variation from grower to grower, but considering the fact that anyone with access to the actual clone will most likely be an experienced grower (these aren't just floating around), those differences would be minimal.

So all these versions that you say are going around are very obviously not the real thing because we have already established there can only be one. So what is it that you are smoking??

Sour D is just one of those strains even a novice would be able to identify.
