hey everyone...the sour d does cause a ruckus, huh? I just came back from the 10th annual harvest fest in northeast usa and the first night i arrieved i wwent straight to the vendors for some food as i was realllly hungry..i pass by a group of kids and what do i smell? Sour Diesel. My friend said i was crazy and that the clone isnt that popular. Man, was he wrong! The next day about 5-10 people were selling it. i later met the brother of the guy who brought it in..it def looked like the d and tasted like it, just wasnt that frosty. anyway, thought you guys would find that interesting. and they were sellling the sour for 350-400 a z...i'll put a thread up of the fest and the various indoor/outdoor nugs we found. some things that i thought were the nicest were bog lsd, outdoor sour cross, general revenge, and a A11 grown by some generic hippie named pickle. so pickle, if you read this, up yours sorry, it's just this kid had droped like 20 drops of lsd onto a girl who later had to be taped up so she wouldn't hurt herself...anyhow, i got a new camera so the pics of sour d will look really nice, finally. peace and enjoy the sour.

if i could only get my two green thumbs on one of those...id be showing you peeps my work.......but its all over OG ...so if u type in my name (same) you guys can see my Deez, my PUrple Haze 9 footer plants from last season and more.... that purple i was flipping at the last CC, maybe some of you had some, i was at the booth near the lecture hall with Uncle Sam (poopoo guru) and the Vegan guys....HAD hommies hitting me up like 10 times a day....they liked it a lot...cuz they said it smelled like PUSSY....and they were kinda right...

Don't get me wrong,for what it is it can produce quite well:
But when every m2 counts,this is a boutique,growers-only clone.
I realise the NYC deliverey services offer it,and they also contract-grow it/have it grown,so my guess is everyone's happy-except the end-consumer,who pays (I'll be kind,here) through the nose.

As far as the sour-it was probably leftovers or "seconds"...they tasted a little sweet rather than sour...im not really sure but for the price it was a good deal. I tried an outdoor sour cross and it was really tasty, great value- like 35 an 1/8. Oh yea, and i tried some A11 that was fruity, hazey. not sure if it was the real deal but it was nice.
there was even a mini canabis cup which they called "the holy grail"..it used to be called "canabis cup" but steeve bloom called and bitched , thus the name change.. Only 5 growers submited entries. They were mostly outdoor...in order to compete, each grower had to submit a 1/2 oz of their herb.Basically the party ended with 75-100 people having a crazy session, sharing around 15-20 pipes/bongs/joints of all the entries and of course some of people personal stash. man, it was a great feeling, sharing without being greedy.i found a couple of nyc guys and had to smoke them out on some sour and strawberry c. they were bugging out because they had never seen bud like that before. they mostly smoked mexican, city weed or "chocolate" as they call it in brooklyn. That is the point of the fest, in my opinion

I just scored some really nice outdoor Sours and i was skeptical about it when i heard it but...yo...this is some nice work.....my friend got me some...and wow...it's very tastey a nice clean taste...cured amazingly..it's just something i never imagined after i saw some poor results last season from NYCD and buddha sister outdoors i had in the netherlands..I'd love to meet this grower...
just some ideas to find ways to create a sick batch of sour d , for next season....we'd probably have enough to support the whole thread give or take a few peeps

check out the third picture, that's what the real sour should look like . the dark leaves that the sour is known for has been trimmed off so all that's left are trichomes. happy smoking

thanks filter..yea, even though the sour was picked a little early, they are still stronger than most. where do you find yours, i hope not dr. sprinkler, only because they are soo expensive. i would be broke paying those prices I dont know of anyother harvest fests in the northeast. im going to a friends in Garberville if you know where that is. his dad left him 45 acres in the woods. ill post pics in about three weeks-if i hear abouth anything that sounds fun, ill let you know first. ..take care

I actually used to get my Sour Diesel from a kid at my college. I have no idea where he got his weed from, but let me tell you he had the goods. I never saw shit like he had before (execept NYC), it was the stuff we would always look at the High Times centerfold and dream of smoking.
S.A.G.E., Jack Herer, NYCD and various crosses...but there would be THE times where he would get a few ounces of Sour Deez for HIMSELF, not even to sell. I lived right above him in my apt complex, so we were pretty cool and he would sell me some from his personal stash. I'd be lucky enough to be able to buy a quarter or so before it was all gone - $70 an eigth. That wasnt too bad considering he sold the other strains for $60 an eigth. He also had beasters and mids for way cheaper.
Unfortunately, he graduated last year and now if i want good buds its up to me to grow them or a drive to manhattan to visit a good ol delivery service.
Anyway, yea man definetly let me know if you hear anything. I'm always tryin to find places to get some exotics
