finally someone nice helped me about uploading pix in my posts, a big thanx to him.

Looks like you're having a lot better luck than me lol! The more research I do the more I realize how good it might be for me to start my seeds off in coco, I've always had troubles getting healthy seedlings and this seems to do the trick.
I noticed you got your babies in clear cups, I've heard that solid cups help prevent light from damaging the roots, although I don't know how important it is. I know someone on these forums puts his seedlings in clear cups then puts those inside solid cups to block the light. Then all he needs to do to check the roots is pull the clear cup from the solid one. Just a thought. Keep up the work, I'm curious to see what you're going to get from those Hawaiianxafghan seeds.

i also read that clear cups are not the best for roots, but i always do that cause i can have these clear big or small cups for free through a friend who gives it to me.
i only use cfl's or eco lights in the veg cab then i think it's less damageable than it could be with a MH or HPS,second thing, i never seen any diff beetween the one grown in clear cups and the one in black pots... anyway you're right it's better in non-clear cups.

i forgot to precise that i have the same rates and troubles popping seeds in coco or in all-mix or other enriched soil-mix, when they don't whant to pop they wont anywhere.

Hi bro'
i'm not too unsatisfied with these firsts crosses... they look healthy and seems to have both daddy and mum caracteres ( in different proportions ).
i plan to flower them in 2 weeks in the new space i'm building in the kitchen
.building is not my favourite activity
.then it took longer than i thought to be build.
anyway, it will be a veg and flow space of 170cm long, 110 high and 50cm deep. with 4 x 32watts x 120cm coolwhite fluoros and 2 x 200watts ecolight warm spectrum.
i want to experiment these light sources during a flow and try to optimize the yield with a very close-to-the-plant light source.
all in straight Cellmax coco coir with 3cm of hydroton at the bottom.
i'm gona flower some diesel and bgs clones in this space too.
i plan on an average of 30 pots for this space.
in a couple of week i'll be able to show the firsts pix of the new space with the babies in early flow...
.your shinny-purple zombie virus would like my new space for sure........................
i wish you the best end of flow for your tests grows while i wait for the OGA hot beans.

all is going well there, the diesels x bgs and zamal x bgs are nice and healthy.
only a few have shown sex yet, i have 3 males diesel x bgs and 1 female zamal x bgs and 1 fem diesel x bgs also.

another one less indi stylish:

i plan to clone everybody for the female and only the nicest 1 or 2 males i'll find to flower every females and see wich are the females i like the caracteres to backcross with the bgs male pollen then with a diesel x bgs male once more.

first, a huge female diesel x bgs, she stinks already:
she's around 3weeks veg, just repote it in 1 gal pot with straight coco and hydroton at the bottom, will be flip next week :
a zamal x bgs female that is huge at 9 days 12/12:

High Friends,
i know i'm a dirty lazy bastard and i didn't update for a long time,
anyway, last week end, i re-painted my grow cupboard inside and outside in white , then i took a few pix of the babies, the diesels x bgs are huge and the zamalxbgs also, everybody smell strong but not close to the diesel or the bgs for the moment, it's quite a new smell for me.
the interesting thing is about the bud density, it's my denser plants i ever had, and both diesel/zamal, seems that the male bgs did his job so well, they really are at 3/4 weeks inflow, more dense than the bgs at the end of flow !!!
