Nutrients and Additives (UK)

Yes Headmasta is stinky.
Im using that and superior potash.Would like to do a flower using them seperately with the vita-link max i use [Coir this time so vita-link coir]
But people seem to use them together so maybe/probably this has already been tried and tested!?

In veg this time ive been spraying clones with a mixture of rhizotonic and supathrive
"to get that green going" :)

it was my biggest yield to date and chopped 2wk early

be carefull with it it's strong and I would advise using from wk4 unless you can counter the high amounts of k too early with cal mag

After doing a side by side comparrison of the Buddhas tree pk 9/18 and Headmasta and Superior Potash by Canadian Express, the results acheived with the Canadian Express range is better with both overall vigour and taste as well as the resin production wins hands down. I think I will stick with the Canadian Express as better price as well, I now think the Budhas pk 9/18 stuff is over rated IMHO.

Given up with a lot of additives, stopped using them and it made no difference to yield or quality the only one I continued with as it does seem to make noticable difference is the top shooting powder.

I was given a sample bottle at the growshop im going to use it in weeks 5,6,7 of bloom, its quite pricey at 45quid for half a litre, so im expecting excellent results with it.

What about it can Warrant Such a Price ?

Psychological RRP Games maybe :smoke:

? As I said ^^

But I do imagine Nutes will get better and better with Research and All Company's will Follow of course
Something MUST Warrant that Price so I'd be Expecting/Excited in using it too!

Seems Leafcoat from Biobizz is a popular product , find it works well but never cures the insect problem entirely , and excellent for drought stressed outdoor and general garden use , but find the smell to be foul myself.

But at 8 quid or more for half a litre its a bit of a ripoff , been useing a diy mix that replicates it at a fraction of the price.

The latex emulsion is diluted to a 3% solution with a dash of epsom salts and some seaweed extract and detergent as wetting agent , about 50 pence a litre , and a lot less pungent.

Bud Factor X

Bud Factor X

Hi Folks,
Has anyone used AN's Bud Factor X?
I'm interested in the mechanical/chemical induction of the defence system, to produce more trichomes & ergo - stronger buds.
I'm particularly interested in the inclusion of chitosan in BFX & it's effects. I'm also looking at means and methods of 'mechanical damage' to induce the same response, mimicking insect attack.
Look forward to your responses. :tiphat:

Is anybody using any Hydrotops feed or additives, bacteria ?

I know they had problems 7 odd years ago, see that they are back up and running again, I am not really after digging up the past, but wonder if any UK growers are using their nutrients, tailored nutrients, Bactivator or FFF ?
