Nutrient deficiency / Ph problem

This is new strain Abusive OG / LA Confidential.
Clones have been in hydroton for 1 week.
All environmental factors are dialed in.
PH 5.8 PPM 500
To me this looks like a nutrient defiency or ph problem.
Also, the new leaves are small and kinda twisted.
I just don't know what it is.
Can anyone tell me what it is?
More pics when lights come on.

Hi, crippled1. Are the spots all over the plant or is this the only one? It sorta looks like something was dripped on it. As far twisting goes, it can be a sign of pH trouble. I dont have any experience growing in hydroton so I can't be of much help there. Did you soak the hydroton in a properly ph'ed solution before you planted?

i finally realized that my ppm's were just too high
500 was too much for freshly rooted clones
it's now around 200 and they are much happier
