I believe they hang out under the leaves, but not so much hanging out as they are constantly moving fast looking for food. Ive seen them feeding on sap from broken branches, leaf pulling ext. and with 1000 swirkskis + a plant i have never seen feces but I've only been using these guys for a year. Hard to catch them with a naked eye but possible so feces at that point must be microscopic and not in groups so id think the flowers are safe
Hows the Blue Dream ladies doin? any pic updates?
Love this thread, u got ur shit on point. So it looks like 18 gal planters on 27 gal lower res. U using turface? U and HL inspire me to step it up. I do vert donut ppks on screens, but Ive always wanted to do a "x" grow I call it. I change shit all the time and it usually costs me so I told myself run this set up for a year at least, but...
So Im curious which style is easier to maintain since I think they yield about the same. IDK, can u hit 1.5gpw in these 5 light setups? Whats ur take on the ease or pains of tying shit up and canopy management?
Sorry for all the q's u just got me intrigued. This goes for u to hl45, if u got any knowledge u wanna drop on me.
If u think its too much light, freds talks about using 600's in the corners. That would cut ur light and heat down. Wouldn't surprise me if u got the same yields with the 600's in the corners. 3400w hitting 10p's, would put u in at 1.25gpw or so. He also talks about chicken wire on the ceilings to spread out the branches. Might be a good idea for ya. So u kinda cage around them for training then? Was wondering if u had to crawl underneath shit, but with the cages sounds like u might restrict them enough to have work room.
Sorry to hear about the bd. Its good it grew so well, but sucks it fell over. Ive got a green crack going, 1st run so it sounds promising. Does it not stretch much, I take it by u saying u would do it twice as big?
The donuts are super efficient but require a lot of training. I think that is the case with trying to max out yields in any style, training, and canopy management.
