Ok, germed my beans...put em in pots...have em under light, misting lightly. They are a couple inches tall, looking good. I am a complete noob...what light schedule should they be on? When should I switch? Start feeding?

don't take this the wrong way grasshopper but it sounds
like you need to do some basic reading or you are in for some
disappointment.

believe me, the questions you are asking are so basic
that they have been asked by thousands before you and
if you only look you will find the answers.

i'd suggest you start here and begin reading the sticky's,
they are at the top and contain much info you need.

after you read the sticky's start looking through the list
of threads and read some that look interesting and try
and understand that you are faced with a choice, you can
either ask questions and wait for answers or you can take
control and go hunt for the answers that must be here
already.

for now --dont turn off the lights and dont overwater. plz no nutes till there out of the seedling stage. yes read,, read and then go to utube. lots of grow info there also.

Quick basics or what I do:

1st - I veg my seedlings at 18/6
2nd - I flower my plants at 12/12

This is basics for light schedule

When seedlings have enough roots (full of them) in your grow medium, you should plant them in bigger pots. You should veg. your plants to certain size which fits your grow room or grow box height. You can have one grow space for veg. and flower... but I recommend two separate boxes, one for veg. and one for flower.

When plants are tall enough for you, put them on 12/12 schedule... in flower box or same box. You must consider that plants on 12/12 grows also, so height of your grow space is important. Caution: light leaks are not welcome

I feed my plants in veg. stage with rain water (filtered) and some nutrients (easy on them). In flowering stage of plants I only use water. That way I learned what can I do, and what I must not do.

I like it organic
