If there's green it will grow. The only photosynthesis going on is where there are green parts. Seedlings that start of white will die. The more it losses color the less likely it will survive. The flower pic posted is 100% white, I can't say what's keeping that alive, it should be dead or dying. I'd find a willing tester to smoke some 1st. It would be an interesting discussion about that plant.

Man, what a shit show that plant is. Straight up criminal hahaha. But hey, if it grows through all that nonsense, it must have some saving mechanisms worth a damn :biglaugh:

Canna i call it the albino trait not sure what the real name for it is but its not caused by bleaching from light.

I have seen it on Haze hybrids a leaf half Green Half albino even a branch that was albino but never to that extent.

I had a Nevil's haze throw a branch that was Albino i tried to clone it but had no success.

EDIT: Meh. Missed an entire page before replying.

Get it in seed. Call it harlequin and charge the earth.

Old post:
Is it just light bleach? It was my first thought, but the distribution makes me question it.

I guess it must be, but in tissue that's susceptible due to some genetic mistake.

The wall reflections say LED, but it's not the usual 'LED deficiency' type stuff. Just light bleach. Their diet must be pretty well catered for.

Plants with albinism occur when they do not produce chlorophyll due to genetic mutation. Emergent albino plant seedlings will have a distinct white color. True plants with albinism will demonstrate no hint of green pigment at all.

What about the outcome of growing them?

Hiya Switcher56 the most i ever saw on a plant that was albino was a branch. The plant and branch grew fine.

Last time i saw it was some years back but what i remember was this.

The albino branch had little to no smell in the flower compared to the non albino.
