Northern Lights breeder suggestions.

Just like the title says, im looking for high quality NL seeds. I have only ever bought seeds from Herbiesheadshop.com because ive never had a problem with them. Id like an NL5 without any crosses, but that might be a pipe dream. Next best would be an NL x Haze. So if youve found a good breeder that youve had good luck with in the past, please help a brother out. I know there are tons of NL's out there, just looking for the good ones, thanks.

I grabbed a pack of Bodhi's NL5 a while back, that was probably one of the best NL offerings to come around in a long time, 15 seeds per pack too. I havent grown mine yet but will get to them eventually.

Other than that Sensi might be worth a shot, but there is a real lack of info out there about them, they are very expensive and sensi's reputation these days is wishy washy.

The only Nl5xHaze's I know of of Mr Nice and Sensi, I grew quite a few of Mr Nice's they were all pretty much junk, Sensi's NL5Haze might be worth it but same as above they are very expensive and their rep is questionable.

It seems no one really grows sensi these days so you really have to look hard to find any up to date pics of their strains.

I thought Dr Atomic stopped making seeds years ago?

I am a fan of Peak but Atomic gets mentioned a lot. Never tried them.

2nd Dr Atomic. Good yields and potent. Just a lil harder to find the beans as its not everywhere. One guy called it, "The vodka of weed" he was happy. Didnt find it short and stocky though more of a typical medium height

Mr Nice offers Ortega...
NL2 x NL5 or sumthin like that...

The one plant I grew years ago had cherry cough syrup undertones and was a day ender. After harvest I found some male flowers & immature seed in a couple places... Not throughout so was isolated to a couple flowers only. Still very much worth the grow.

I'm vegging some Sensi NL now. Fairly stable but a couple wierd mutants took a month to get straightened out. They have the typical Christmas tree structure, but I've been topping them. I couple with some nice vigor and slightly bigger than I expected. Just waiting on cuts to root before flipping.

I would have gone with Bodhi if available.

You should post up some pics when you get them into flowering. I'd like to see how they turn out, Im sure others here would be interested too :joint:

Hey thanks everyone for the input, think I'll check these pics out before I make a decision. NL was my first ever experience with Mary Jane back in highschool, and it was incredible. So I'm tryin to take a little trip down memory lane on this next run.

Here are the Sensi NL mutants. Not much to offer other than they did pull through once mature growth was able to push through but thisbset them back about 3 or 4 weeks of veg growth.

i grew dr atomics nl about 10 years ago and it produced huge leafy buds that were bland tasting and lacked potency, it resembled NL5 in no way i could see, i was very disapointed and will never waste my time with dr atomic again, I too would like a true old school nl5

It's nice to see some actual truth. So many people blindly recommend strains without ever growing them. If I had a dime for everytime I've seen someone recommend Dr.A I'd be a rich man, lots of recommendations but never a single picture. The way I look at it, if there is no pictures of something to be found it must be garbage.

Dr Atomic NL = Trash
BCSC NL #5 = Trash
Sensi NL = Big hit or miss
Mr nice Ortega = Herm city

Peaks Northern lights is the only NL worth recommending.
