atomic nl and bcsc nl are tops in nl seeds. im sure the others are dope. i choose pnw nl5 over all, d

Not yeah but HELL yeah!

Dr. Atomic and BCSC offers a NL/Blueberry cross that has a wonderful berry/mango smell, purple hues and a stone that is superlatively relaxing yet strong.

Big Blue and Blueberry Jam !

Also, Peak Seeds in BC offers similar gear.

God bless beautiful PNW !

I sure miss Olympia...

anyone here ever do the seedsman version of the northern light ? they already have the original sam skunk #1 and they pretend their nl is a very old (sssc) .

they claim their version is an indica dom that go at 45-55 days .

anyone with input might be appreciated . i want to rerun nl but from what im told and what io see when peeps show mee what they call nl , i got some kind of doubt about the purity or the selection that is not representative of the nl i used to grow 20 years ago from sssc .

grew sensi and seedsman NL in 2008. they were very similar. and certainly not pure indica. i wouldnt recommend

i dont want to burst your bubble but bcsc advertise their nl 5 in the 90 has a f2 of sensi seeds circa 1992 .

this was totally documented in the old cannabis canada/cultures early edition where the bcsc was know to the general public for the first time . as being the pure pwn nl....no its a descendant of dutch manipulation and croses from the pwn cut aka sssc then sold to sensi that messed up every strain from sssc .

crazy man, never heard that before. i knew that their afghani #1 was an f-4 sensi seeds. and their kush was a very special hindu from sensi too. and the hawaiian indica in the five-0 cross. trippy. they do have pacific classics like stinky pinky, hdf, mendo madness and killin garberville(which kills it). so when they claim 25 years of selective inbreeding its a hoax, id be stoked if you had a link, my search skills tend to lean to the a.d.d. side, much thanks, d

ps res even claims bcsc #5 to be the best in the world???

it is good !

at a point they copy/paste the nl description from the sensi catalog . the sensi nl circa 92 was excellent and strong . bcsc made an extensive selection from an excellent seed bank at the time .

its probable that they might have saved the best nl of the early 90 before sensi started to change the lineage and phenotype used in the breed .

The rumors about Sensi seem to have some merit. As you may or may not know they have taken over The Flying Dutchmen and SUPER STABLE strains such as The Pure have been compromised.

I find a lot of people correlate price with quality and in most cases this train of thought shines through. However, with Sensi it seems that these prices actually reflect their overhead(HASH MARIHUANA HEMP MUSEUM). Its too bad Dronkers didnt hand over the reins to more capable individuals.

seedsman and sensi NL both took over 70 days. piney smell. loose bud structure.

u'll find NL5 a component of many of some of the great crosses ...one of the most stable base strains out there next to sam's Sknk1.

put NL5 crossed with Skunk1 and u have what 50% of the growers up in canada grow ...sometimes called M39 which produces some nice blueberry scented buds with the right pheno ....

There was a magnificent cut of NL5 Haze x M39 that was in circulation with a small group of local growers in the 90's up until around 2012 when it was lost to history. Man I wish someone had been able to keep that going, it was outstanding. The M39 was indeed NL5 x Skunk. The breeder of said local cut selected the shortest most compact male from the M39 seeds to cross with the NL5 Haze. The resulting cut that he passed on was outstanding. Fantastic yielder, finished in 9-10 weeks. Mango, petrol and solvent aromas. Looked like it had been sprayed with glue. Still to this day one of the best cuts I've smoked. If it had been passed around more it would have gone down as a true UK classic/elite. Better than Exodus cheese imho. But the people who had it didnt like giving it out. And when they lost their mother plants, it was gone forever. So let that be a lesson to all o' ye :pirate:
