Going to be doing more testing on this cross.... still need to go through a lot more seeds to find the plants i want for the F2s but here we are now. this is the first test with 3 seeds planted and all 3 came up in 3 days.. 2 females 1 male. the male is showing sensitivity to newts and a few other things i dont like seeing in them... even number of blade leaves on some leaves .. and so on. So he might not be making any babies this time around... gonig to plant the remaining seeds and look for a male(s) and females to make my F2s. Then go on to picking the pheno i really want to lock down. Seeds were started in DWC using my hydroton x perlite layering method. no rockwool or grow plugs.
So far this is what we got with Pheno 1 and 2.
Pheno#1 -
leaves are darker in color... smaller indica type.. not to wide and round as Pheno#2... so far 9 bladed leaves... #1 has a very distinct sweet fruity smell when rubbed on stems.. very bushy.. no they havent been topped.. they are naturally bushy the branches are starting to surpass the main top. Strong thick stock/stems.. nothing will be falling over thats for sure! Compact growth but not as many nodes as i was expecting figured they would be more of them butt smaller.. instead we got a few nodes but are huge branches coming off.
Pheno#2 -
Very wide roundish indica leaves, picked off some old fan leaves with 7 blades that were larger than a dinner plate... not sure if thats a good thing... kind of a pain to deal with when you are trying to maximize space in the flowering room... Pheno#1 is much more leave size manageable... 11 bladed leaves for 3 nodes now...#2 hasnt been topped either... they are very compact growers.. the stock on it is almost over 1" thick while the plant is only 19" tall. She has a very musky dank smell when rubbed.
