I got them in. Saw a review about how cheap they were. I am not dissapointed in the quality at all. They are thin, but seem to be almost stronger than smart pots. You are right about the light. I am indoors so am thinking not a huge issue.

Maybe I should cover their boots a bit though...

I put them up on plastic lattice and xps foam blocking to avoid drainage problems and to let the roots that came through the smart pots air prune. heres some more pics
