Holding up our most recently added police agency as if it were sexy...

If making money is the standard of measurement, your hero could have made out far better had he placed his inheritance in the S&P 500.

Hope every one has a blast and no one gets hurt.

I'll tell ya Gypsy....Stoner and I have been conversing over a decade. And I love the guy. Most of what you see...what you read....is just his inability to grasp what is real. I mean, common sense and shit.

Love you guys...Happy 4th...I'm outta here...

Well, there we go......it comes back to perception. How you perceive the world around you.

What might be common sense to one man is not to another.

I have probably had similar arguments/debates with my older brother, and he always ends up shouting when confronted with the evidence and has no more logical ammunition based on verifiable facts to contest the debate...

We all have our differences, but I would rather not see members getting so combative here on the forums because it always ends up making a mess that us mods/admins invariably have to clean up, plus I'm pretty sure that most people don't want to come here and see the membership fighting with each other, its not entertaining.

Of course, if he had done that, he wouldn't have provided employment for 22,450 people...

If experience is a guide, the cited number would be as fictional as a degree from Wharton.

When one includes the Polish demolition team, and the endless bankruptcies, it gets ever more tragic.

The cited number is from a variety of sources via a Google search.

Endless bankruptcies? I believe that there were 5, out of approximately 500 businesses. If you think that number is excessive, you need to do some research on how many new businesses fail. Incidentally, they were all related to gambling in Atlantic City, where roughly half the casinos have gone bankrupt, the city itself was on the verge of declaring bankruptcy and has had to repeatedly shut down non-essential services until they received the next infusion of tax revenue.

How could NK take seriously any agreement when there's so much dishonesty being paraded about in public?

I recall the interview he did with Barbra Walters as a young man. He impressed me as a spoiled brat who was not even up to doing what was obviously fluff journalism which was an attempt to make him look good.
Since then, the guy has been a tale of one sleazy scam after another...
You are entirely too well informed to pretend his track record is typical of any one other than a scam artist. Trump U, being the cherry on top.

My favorite line currently, is where he states repeatedly that he does not get along well with the intel community.

What is it that you find admirable about him?

Interesting question. I really can't say that I've admired many people since roughly about the time that I hit puberty and found that we ALL have feet of clay.

I do respect the fact that he is the only person in high political office in my lifetime that is actually trying to fulfill his campaign promises. He is attempting, and largely succeeding at, running the country like a business. He is reversing the idiotic policy of the US borrowing money to overtly support every possible cause around the globe, and covertly providing even more support to foreign nations by outsourcing our manufacturing base and bending over for their trade "agreements" and tariffs. Obama sought to accustom us to mediocrity - the "new normal" of 2% or less GDP growth, that manufacturing jobs are gone forever, and all of the social justice bullshit. Trump has shown that not only was none of it true, but that a majority of the country is damn happy to have it proven not to be true.

What you see as a positive change, looks like just another link in a corporate chain to me.
I would say Obama was just one more link in the same corporate chain, but I have to give him his due... No man ever put up with a more racist and obstructive congress.
The outsourcing you complain of was the result of efforts the republicans have long taken pride in.

If there was ever anyone who called it, it would have been old Ross Perot with his giant sucking sound no one wanted to address. One can understand more clearly in hindsight, the men who had worked diligently to generate the vortex were not about to interfere with it.

That corporate chain is a fundamental requirement for the US to provide all of the things that it's citizens and the rest of the world have come to expect.

And that outsourcing is just one of the reasons that I have little more use for the Republicans than I do the Democrats...
