n careI think you have the saturation Park taken care of now the only remaining issue is pH.
Usually a pH of 5.5 to 5.7 is best suited for water culture

Honestly it looks like you just need to lower pH I thought closer to 5.5 was best in hydro, 5.9 better for coco. I'm not a hydro expert tho.

And perhaps oxygenate your water a Lil more? Be careful tho airstone in a res will make pH rise some more.

Honestly I think lower pH, more often floodings, should be on track. I wouldn't add calmag until after trying a lower pH.

i upped the floods to every 4 hours, floods for 5min and drains in 5min. my ph is at 5.8 now, i added lucas 5-10 lucas formula on friday which put the ppm at 760 and topped the res monday afternoon (with r.o water only) which put the ppm at 700. i think I'm definitely going to try lowering the ph though because when i put the notes in the res the ph came to like 5.4,5.5 but i added ph up to bring it to 5.8

Yes, not enough. The medium is pH rising, causing CA Def, if you flood more often, and maybe lower pH a Lil more, the medium will get reset to proper pH more frequently. :)

I agree.

Ph 5.5 for hydro for the win. 5.9 works wonders in coir

Flood more often!

Problems will disappear

Im not a hydro guy i do coco but know that 5.5 is solid in hydro and keep them wet just like anything else hydro its a fine line between perfect and not

alright I'm lowering the ph now, hopefully it works out because this is just getting ridiculous now, these plants are 2 months old and look like what other peoples 2 week old plants look like

not white, like a tan/whiteish color but none of the fine white hairs you see on really healthy roots, theres no smell though and i can only see a few roots at the bottom of the pot on the bigger ak48 plant

Almost allways pot ph is off.
test last drips from pot tilted at 45 degs at 1 hr and 2 hr after flood.

Main causes are hard water the carbonates build up in the hydroton
Ive had to ph rez to 4.5 in a very hard water area high calcium carbonate.
Another cause is crap hydroton high ph from the maker i found 1 idiot company selling ph 9.0 not a fuking clue .

I realised that i needed RO water ) no carbonates ect
And to ph the hydroton prior to use ,you can still get probs depending on the the make ive seen one type take a whole crop with rez at 4.5 ph and pot run off at 5.5 swinging to 6.5 in 2 hours after flood,
Then when reused after drying and flushing with ro water and 1 initial ph soak in plastic dustbins
it was perfect ,250ltr rez ph 5.8 pot run off at 2 hrs drained last drips tested ph 6.0
