OK... enough with the doom and gloom. The garden is going to be just fine. I decided to cover the light deps tonight and sleep on the prospect of being done with tarp tomorrow or not and waiting the week or more I had intended...

Wanna see the good news? Plough, I was a bit bitchy in my dismissal of your badly timed request for new pixels. But you're right...

At first I was like "who u callin a big blue bag of water, motherfucker?!", but then I made it to the part in parentheses. ;)

Its for chilling humans. My kids play in there for hours every day. And its always good for a cool-off session when we are working in the garden.. A perfect replacement for the dome. I get in at least once a day to clean it with the skimmer and mellow for a spell. Its a pretty meditative practice.

You would not want to put that water on the plants. 48 hours without tablets in that thing and it starts getting green and slimy.

Having it up on the gravel where there is no mud and weeds is really nice. I had a smaller one last year that turned into a science project... the filter stopped working on the third day and it was all downhill from there.

Gotta say... the whole concept of the big blue bag of water with the inflatable ring kind of deserves an international structural engineering award. Or maybe the nobel prize in ghettofabulousness. Something.

I've got one too.

Big fooker, 18' x48", within splashing distance of my farm too.

I hear ya on the water sterility, I'm always running the filter with a dose of shock while tending to gardening chores.

Then it's into the pool for a soak and a smoke.

Wake up, repeat.......

Worried about hedge mode still? I would be with those trees!!

Those plants are nicely sized! We're about to see 'em stretch too...

Fuckin blue dream!!

Big as fuck like she's supposed to be...!

I really like the look of the Pineapple Cough though..Nice even roundness to them like The D.O.G has..those ones are always huge producers...

yeah... still worried about hedging.

could I prune my plants at the last minute into perfect globes? should I try using a product like Bushmaster if they start to get too big?

The Pineapple Cough is just as massive as the Blue Dream... but in a different way... that nice rounded structure... But in terms of plant mass, I am pretty sure she is on par if not slightly ahead of the Dream... even though she is generally shorter. I traded the Dream for the PC and the guy ran em side by side... his report was that the BD "kept up" with the PC and was therefor deemed a keeper. LOL. I have high hopes to say the least.

Its hard to determine at 33 days, but the PC I have in the black boxes seems like its going to produce some of the headiest nug I have grown. The smells are amazing... going to be fun watching them develop over the next month.

try comb: this morning's Cough bong hit was a joy. The cure is starting to take effect... those unmistakable Cough flavors and the telltale stench are starting to come out.

Thank you, Mrs Babba. Sad I missed you guys at GKG last month... I hope we coincide on your next visit. Blessings.

I'd stay away from Bushmaster. I know Tom is not a fan of pruning but I was taught to be pretty heavy handed. If you're gonna prune I'd do it sooner rather than later and don't do it unless absolutely necessary at this point.

Thanks for the photo bump, RW.

I got a PM asking what the strains are in the photos. Sorry. Normally I tag the shots.

pic1: A row of 5 Pineapple Cough down the middle. Bubba and part of another PC on the right.

pic2: Blue Dream

pic3: PC, Sour D and OGK seem to be visible.

Bad ass. Hope some nugs of that Pineapple Cough find their way to me. I really like the way that plant looks. The round structure ones are my favorite..

Do not use Bushmaster (Paclobutrazol) in your garden...it is soil systemic.

If you had plant like mine in your garden I'd say it's too late to cut them since they're all about to flip in to bloom, but with stuff like Blue Dream that grows in to August I'd say if you want to cut them back, now is the time.

If I were to cut back the Dream, i think it would come back like a Hydra and eat the rest of the garden.

I think crowding them in the dome turned out to be a great way to keep em in check with my needs. They seem to be growing upwards more than outwards, which is perfect for the spacing I have.

If I wind up with a hedge, I will make the best of it. if you calculate the square footage of the garden and I manage to train a proper scrog of that same square footage, my yield will be just fine to fill the needs of the collective. All will not have been lost.
