Nobodyknew's new grow that nobody knew about

Mr GreenJeans

Plants can get sick just like people, and if a plant lives long enough it will get sick just like we do as we age. This happens often with bonsai - you could have a tree happily sitting on your table for 15 years and the next summer roots die.

Do you have any other cuts off that bb? Don't know if a clone from her at this point would be free of your current problem.

The rest of your garden is looking super - very ballsy cloning under those lumens - but look how good they did! Nice show!

Bugger about the BB mate she is a nice one for sure, i see some claw action in the leaves, over N? too much N or lock out caused by it?

I would try take a few clones of her if you can and see what the clones do :joint:

Thanks for looking in Mr.GreenJeans..
I'm inclined to agree that she has reached the end of her productive life - perhaps I should get her a zimmer frame....lol
She looks pretty much like an old age pensioner
As soon as I spotted something untoward I cloned her straight away but -as you would expect - the clone is the same as the donor only smaller... :badday:
As for being ballsy - well - I had to learn to clone a looooong time before I got a pooter and - with nobody to learn from and with no pooter - I couldn't read about how difficult it was to clone and the fearsome array of equipment you needed to have in order to clone successfully - so I just did it - like I did in the previous posts - no trouble at all - tho you do have to hold your nerve - cos there's a period there where they all look well fucked and you'd swear they were dying...
Thanks for your thoughts there SatCat.. :joint:

And hello to James Bong - not often James is at a loss for words so I'll take that as a compliment - I presume you'd rather your bong was stirred - not shaken......

And hello to Leeroy - alas my friend - the blueberry we both know and love is all but finished - I'll continue to flower her out - mainly cos I'm curious to see what happens - but it's all over now Baby Blue - to quote the song :badday:
I've had her so long and she has served myself and quite a number of friends very well and faithfully and now it's like losing a family member...
I'd get her stuffed and mounted cept she now is just a ghost of what once was..... :badday:
Sad days, sad days

if only you could stuff and mount her....hold on...that doesnt sound right does it :biglaugh: :whip: :spank:

Bye bye blueberry, thanks for the memories! :friends: :canabis:

Hopefully youl find a new "keeper" in that beaut garden of yours :joint:

My bad nobodyk... sorry i didn't read/absorb your growing style & posted that crap. I also cannot help much with hydro since in soil is the only way i grow. That is quite sad if she does not make it. Best of luck to you 3ld

Hey there 3leg
Thanks for dignifying the way I grow by referring to it as a "growing style" - lol - you're too kind........ :joint:

And hello to hazy - thanks for dropping by....
The cat is not in residence in there - I agree - furballs.... :badday:
Never had that and don't want that either..... :joint:

Couple of developments - looks like the NYCD x 3 are all going to be boys :yoinks: - I'm leaving them go a bit longer hoping that I'm wrong
And the lovely looking Bogbubble I threw in to replave the one I gave away also looks like being a boy :badday:

Here's a pic of the AK in Day 27 of flowering

Here's a closeup of the AK flowering

A pic of the AK clones which are now on Day 27 from being cut from their Mum

In the background is the once mutant Lifesaver which will be finding it's way into the flower room - well - any minute now,,,,, :joint:

And the DSDv2 seedlings which are at Day 9 - choogling along nicely

Hope everybody is well and being good to each other...... :joint:

And rather belatedly I realise I have somewhat painted myself into a corner with those DSD seedlings...... :chin:
My original plan was to fill one of the flower rooms entirely with Diesel so that room could go as long as required - and the other strains would be in the other flower room....
Which means - nervous as I still am and mindful of previous disasters - I will have to pop these

so that they finish more or less evenly with the DSD's.......... :joint:

And no matter which way I look at them the three Soma NYCD are all BOYS... :badday:
As is the BogBubble plant I had in there..... :yoinks:

Fortunately I still have these

So I'll have one more shot at a BogBubble..... :joint:

The Soma NYCD has really impressed me by the way it has grown so as long as I'm risking the other seeds I thought I would also throw these in the pot cos now I'm determined to have SOME Soma happening in my grow

And may the Ganja God's hear my prayer...........

Well I don't know what to think anymore......
Just got back from the veg.room where I snuck a look at the germing plates....and......ALL 10 of the SDv3 have not only cracked - they have longish tails and everthang.. :joint:
In fact - in the next ten minutes I'll be placing them in the pots and on the table :woohoo:
And the DSDv2 were also 10 out of 10 and going strong in the veg.room right now.... :joint:
I also got 10 out of 10 for Serious Seeds AK-47.... :chin:
The AK-47 and the Soma and Bog seeds were all purchased within 3 weeks of each other - don't like multiple seed packages arriving simultaneously...
But out of the 4 (and final) BogBubble - nothing....... :chin:..and only 3 out of the others earlier.....
And out of the 10 Soma Lavender - ONE!!.... :chin:..and it's not a done deal yet....
And you'll recall that earlier I got 3 out of 10 for Soma's NYCD
These latest seeds have been germed side-by-side purposely in my effort to track down my germing problem but now I'm starting to think I've been getting a lot of help in that area.........
What do you all think.......?

Hi(gh) there bongsmoke and junit.. ..thanks for dropping by
I agree the algae is unsightly but funnily enough it poses no problem to the actual growing...
I usually clean them when I do a res change but I got a new neighbour the other week who seems to have nothing better to do in her life cept watch what I'm doing....she's always at the fence....
Hmmmm - might be a clue there - will do a smell check tonight... :joint:
The white gunk you mention can easily be held at bay with the judicious use of hydrogen peroxide....
And junit - yeah - I LOVE to give Gypsy money - lol
At one point there I had a bit of a rush of blood to the head and I thought it might be cheaper if I just took over his car payments for a while....lol
Seriously - thank heavens for guys like him - cos without them I wouldn't be growing any of this shit in Australia..... :chin:

Quick update while we're waiting on the seeds - remember the mutant Lifesaver that used to look like this

Well now it looks like this

Clones have been taken and the plant has been in the flower room bout a week now and looks like being a girl - bit early to call yet but I'm hoping :joint:

O.K - time for a little update
First off - I only tried to germ 5 Soma Lavender seeds as I'm still a little cautious after blowing the NYCD
Happy to say I have 4 Lavender seedlings in the pots and on the table... :woohoo:
From the 4 BogBubble seeds I have only the one seedling....and it barely meets the legal definition of "seedling"......
Still - whatever it is - it's in the pot and on the table also
I killed one SDv3 by accident - so that leaves 9 x SDv3 and 10 x DSDv2 plus the four Lavender and one BogBubble going - as well as all the stuff in the flower room.
I'm almost certain that the Lifesaver I have in there is a girl... :woohoo:
The only cloud on the horizon being one of the DSD plants is looking a lil sick.
Here's a pic of the ailing one

Anybody have any ideas as to what is happening there - the other 9 plants in the same tray are totally unaffected and they all share a common res

Here's the AK-47 now on Day 34 of flowering

And a closeup - this is the same plant I close-upped? earlier

Just for comparison's sake
Any ideas on my sick plant will be gratefully received cos I haven't got a clue - never seen that before [/QUOTE]

O.K then - I've peeled away from the dodgy late night movie and it's time for a bit of an update.....seeing as how there have been some changes....

Thanks for dropping by True - I had a look at your thread re your seed germing and am interested in that root-riot stuff you had but my deadbeat hydro supplier hasn't got that yet - I keep telling him it's 2005 not 1975 but he's slow to react.... :chin:

First up - here's some DSDv2 seeds germing

And here they are in their new homes - popping their little heads up

In my last post I mentioned that the blueberry wasn't looking right and I'm afraid that is still the case
Here's a pic..

Anybody have any suggestions as to what is ailing her - and I don't believe it's a nute deficiency or a ph problem cos here's a pic of the Bogbubble sitting in the tray right beside her

And there's nothing wrong with her...... :chin:

Remember the clones I slammed straight on the table under the 1000W just a little over 16 days ago - well here they are now.....

This is how the Blueberry USED to look

I have a few trueblueberry thats ugly ducklings just like yours I think it's genetic.Peace Bm look

This 1 isn't as bad as the rest of them

Wow Bigmone - those pics sure brought back some memories
Unfortunately on mine ALL the bud sites and growth nodes were DEAD.. :yoinks:
If you blow up the pic I posted you can see that..
Love your plants tho - the blueberry is very close to my heart and also excellent as a pain med....... :joint:
I found that once I put it into flowering all that crinkly shit with the leaves just disappeared....
I have these still to pop

But I love D.J.Short's blueberry so much I don't want to chance losing even one - lol
Thanks for your post there Bigmone and for trying to cheer me up about my now recently deceased Blueberry :joint:
Any clues as to what is happening with the sick DSDv2.....?

Thought I'd do a quick update - and a body count - lol
First up - the one and only Lifesaver plant I managed to get is indeed a LADY :woohoo:
Very happy about that...... :joint:
The one and only BogBubble seed I managed to germ appears dead - least nothings happening with it.....
The fourth Soma Lavender has also died.....
The other three are quite fine - just hope I get at least ONE lady - unlike the NYCD which were all boys.....
Here's a pic of the DSDv2 seedlings - they are the bigger ones in the back of the tray - and in front is the SDv3 seedlings
At this stage the DSDv2 are on Day 20 of being alive

Here's a closeup of the sick DSDv2 with it's siblings - the new growth seems unaffected but it's a mystery never the less....
I hate mysteries - lol - ALWAYS need to know the answer

And a closeup of a SDv3 seedling

The SDv3 are on Day 6 of life
The three remaining Lavender plants are still in the half-strength nute tray as they look a little delicate - unlike Rez's stuff which is a veritable pig at the dinner table - lol
Lol - I nearly said "Hog" but pulled up in time......:biglaugh:
