No sure if i have enough ventilation, HELP

iight so i have a stanley blower for my exhaust its pulling air up to my attic and through a DIY scrubber. the scrubber is less than 2' has a 4'' internal diameter and a 6'' outer diameter. when i didnt have the scrubber in it seemed like the air movement was sufficient but when i hooked up my scrubber as u know the air movement has reduced.

im thinkin about getting a 4'' inline on the intake end to help the blower suck more air. do yall think that would help? im only using this setup to get rid of the smell im gonna make another exhaust to cool my light

can i add an inline fan on the exhaust side to help the blower or is that pointless

ne ways i got this really smelly incense and im burning it in the CAB i cant smell it outside of the CAB at all and u can smell it a lil bit when i go into the attic u can smell it alot when u get closer to the scrubber.

i know that its not pot plants but do yall think this is a good judge that my air flow is adequate enough to get rid of the smell. i just dont want the smell in my room or below the attic. if it smells a lil bit in the attic i can take measures to cover the smell up there

If you can smell it in the attic where your carbon scrubber is it's not working.

Maybe your scrubber isn't big enough???

u think so i got about 2 1/2 L of carbon in it

i had a bigger scrubber and it had a hard time with pushing the air through so i made it smaller, i guess i need to make it bigger again. cause ur right its not working well if its not getting rid of the smell.

if you need another cheap but loads of CFM goto Home Depot

Goto the website and type in "Inline fan" in the search and it will pull some up.

the 250CFM one at the store is cheaper than $33


And to be honest you don't have to worry bout the carbon scrubber till you flower. I posted a question too in this forum(designs and equipment) with pics of my cab and I don't have the scrubber on yet. Just MO

yeah i had my eyo on the one inline they sell @ home depot it the 4'' duct inline 80 cfm. i'll c what they have @ my local hydro store. but the only thing i wanna buy there are nutes cause they are overpriced

dont some strains smell during veg though, im starting out with some nirvana california orange bud. i wanna be extra safe than sorry ya digg

for nutes too I'd go with GH Flora 3-part.

I don't know about the cally orange but i'd say you'd be safe for at least 2-3 after sprouting and on 18/6.

my cab is about 7' sq

lighting im got a 400w HPS

soil i have some jungle growth with fertilizer wont be using ne nutes until my first transplant into un ferted soil then i will either use FF nutes of flora nova still undecided

got some good news, my temps are @ about 80-85F with the 400w in my box. and this is without an exhaust because im using my stanely to cool the light like i said.

gonna buy a carbon filter and hook it up to an inline. my cab is 1'11''w x 1'5''d x 3'11''h im thinking i will get a small filter like the 33 can. do ne of yall think that will b good to clear out the air. the recommended CFM i 100 ne links to some cheap fans.
