both of my parents had theirs all pulled in their thirties. dad never voiced an opinion, but mom told me to hang on to what real teeth i had as long as possible. she said "you might need to bite some SOB some day..."

I have pulled a few myself, but have a wisdom tooth I'm a bit cautious of. It seems my dentist was blind to a painful hole I was showing him, and previous dentists used to paint over, and trying to pull teeth I was still using. When I had refused him for about 5 years, telling him I'm still using them, I just stopped going. I'm going to put my own inserts in though. I can put up shelves straight, but I think screwing fixings into the unknown is a bit much

Get yourself to an eastern European country. I get my teeth sorted in Ukraine. Even with war it's not too dodgy if you know where to go. West Ukraine. Amazing dentistry and super cheap.
Have relatives that do dentistry in Mexico, way cheaper. Get this, it's an American Dentist that goes over the border every work day...does great work.
It's most likely the insurance companies that make it so expensive.
I'm on medicare and doubt they provide any help.
Guess it's going to be lidocaine and cloves.

Today I have a fever from it. It sucks, but I'll be glad to never have a tooth ache again.
I had the last of mine yanked a few years back and got some cheap dentures.
The federal government recently passed a program that gives certain groups of people free dental care, being a senior I qualify.
Just finished my last fitting and get my new ones on Wednesday courtesy of the feds.
