i am in agreement with you here Retro, this is a first, but i dont like when anyone uses the argument that god made cannabis, and its a plant, not a man-made drug.

this is a poor argument for cannabis. we have many plants that when consumed create intense psychoactive affects that leave you unable to make safe & responsible decisions, for your own sake and others. for the sheer fact you dont have to process cannabis or any other drug that does not require processing does not justify or glorify the drug. and saying god approves this instead of that because its a plant is silly.

what we can say about cannabis and gods tolerance for it, can be contributed to science. science, so far, has led us to believe that cannabis is not unhealthy. in fact, it is useful on many levels. the pros outweigh the cons significantly in this case, unlike most recreational and even medical drugs.

also, moderate cannabis use does not distort your character. obviously there can be abuse of cannabis but anything that isnt in moderation will pose problems.

weird is no christian. but he understands the theology and the perspective of the believer. he puts himself in other shoes because this life doesnt mean the same thing for everyone, and keeping a good connection to your surroundings, as different as they may be and feel, is wise.

Well thanks, I was just reading this thread, and it was enough to get me to become a member and start posting... I just felt like I somehow offended RetroGrow... There's no right or wrongs here because nobody can prove their beliefs, the key is to stick to what you believe and you are always right... We are all right in our own mind, if we believe something, and can stand up for said beliefs
