Maybe cause I smoke it all the time but I'm starting to really like a "good" Indica over the Sativa. I'm naturally a hyper person and the really strong Sativa makes me edgy and paranoid, where a nice Indica relaxes me and allows to detach from reality for a few instead of freaking out with a cold sweat. None of the Colombians make me feel paranoid but some of them (Punto Rojo) makes me a little hyper sensitive to aches and pains.

I got nothing but hermies and crappy weed from 4 different nirvana strains, spend a little more and get some decent seeds.

I spent $110 on sensi seeds black domina with shitty results. Luck seems to play an important part when proper breeding isnt taking place, doesnt matter if its a $15 nirvana pack or a $115 pack from someone else

I grew out the NL x Big Bud and it was fun to grow. I also grew out their White Widow which was a massive producer of a powerful racy high, but neither had much flavor.

I am thinking of crossing the the WW x a sour d ibl male.

I also have aurora indica, but haven't popped them yet.

You can get some great pheno's. I am struggling with tossing my WW mum to make room for more strains....

I have grown their ak48 and their bubblicious. I liked them both. The ak48 was very strong and had a woodsy flavor. The bubblicious was very sweet and some phenos were perfect bubblegum. The buzz from the bubblicious was very happy and euphoric. If I were to ever grow Nirvana seeds again it would be the bubblicious. Anyways get Hashberry already

Anyone know of some authentic bubblegum seeds? the strain was said to be bred around here and ive been interested since ive known that..

RedRider, OMG for that to be a few weeks early it looks amazing! I hope the bubbelishous(sp) is very good to me. My very first grow was an 2001 ak47 that was gifted to me and it was very potent to say the least! I lost the cut due to some last minute manuevering in which the mother had to be well um.....put down. Since that cluster fuc happend I have since been reduced to nothing and having to start ALL over. Which means I will be waiting for atleast 3 1/2 to 4 months before I'll have meds. I have two herniated discs and I can't keep pain medicine down, but for herniated discs it's just ibprofren anyway so, I smoke the herb. I had to move from Ohio to be close to family because of the fact I cannot work right now because I can barely stand for 2-3 mins at a time. Well anyway I appreciate the responses and hope to find out more about your sucsessful nirvanna and Mandala (and any grow for that matter) grows so that I can learn from some of the best!

Hola!!!

I must agreed almost everything what you said red, but I still think that Nirvana offers some good herb. Yes, the variability is large scale but it is all about finding that keeper mom. You mentioned Sensiseeds whitelabel seedline which has some great strains also. I have smoking & growing that Whiteskunk you mentioned and must say that it is a good strain of every corner. It smells so nice when it is finished but after a cure the smell is incredibly seducing, it produces good yeilds and is pretty easy to grow and the high it produces is just so nice & strong. In fact I am currently running it but I just noticed couple days ago that the spidermites have maked another attack to my garden  I think I have to sterilize the whole apartment AGAIN to the bone but this time Im gonna keep one month break in the growing so I can destroy the whole insectbase!!!!

But yes I have to agree with you when you said that you can acquire better genetics cheaper. However, almost everything I have heard about sensi/whitelabel strains recently is that they suck -> price/quality -ratio sucks, germination sucks, yeild sucks and even potency sucks, so I must say I understand what Smokerings is talkin about!!! I still have to say that their Whiteskunk is great!!!

I think I have to get pack or two of that Satori after hearing those positive things of it from you Redrider, if you say it produces sativa high I must believe it because I really think that you know what is sativa high after growing & smoking all those foxy Colombians

Take care people!!!

Keep It Green & Growing But Don´t Forget The Smokin!
Peace Out Growers!

Why are you not happy? please explain (quality, germ rates ect)

Well, germination was 100%. They started wery well, but somewhere on 2nd week of veg thes slowed down. During the third week 3 of them just simply die. Turned yellow and die

Now they are finishing third week of flowering. They are small (about 25-35 cm), and "wide" about 15 cm.

Oh, I allmost forget, there are only 3 girls left :badday:

africanherbsman...damn bro I feel for you with them herniated discs. In no way do I ask for sympathy. I have four of them, and I understand what your talking about with pain, and painkillers. I'd pay some good attention to RED. He seems to really have his grow down, and has some good write-ups on what he grows. Besides he seems to offer an honest opinion on a strain whether it is the popular opinion or not with others.

Not to hi-jack your thread. If I did I apologize, but just to offer some advice as far as strain selection, and your injury. I will 100% admit I am impartial towards Mr. Nice strains. Among the great breeders in this world Shantibaba is second to none. If your looking for something to help out. Check out his Medicine Man. Do a lil research on it, and you'll see what I mean. Well worth the money as are I feel any of his gear. Yet for what you have the herniated disc's. Definatly it is worth the money. Good luck, and I wish you the best with your back.

Man, dekab247 I'm very sorry to hear about your back. I have been fortunate to not have to have surgery, because the physical therapy is working (for the most part). Hopefully you did not have to have the surgery either. I appreciate your response in particular, due to similar conditions. I have looked at medicine man and I will definitely higly consider purchasing those beans.

Nirvana are cheap knockoff's...

The Jock Horror for a tenner is the best bargain I've ever had! :D
As was mentioned earlier this stuff is as good as some strains 10x the price.
I must get some more!

I ran some Auroa Indica from Nirvana (clones from a friend) and the smoke was very couchlock. I liked it for a quick fix. A few tokes and your heads feeling fine.

Like mentioned above, get a few packs and find the best pheno. There are some good ones.

I've grown Nirvana NL x Shiva and Masterkush and I had a friend who grew 4way. The 4way and NL x Shiva were very nice, but the Masterkush had terrible germ rates (4/10 germed compared to 10/10 with others) and the phenos were trash.

The MK looked to have a more sativa pheno and the buds were really airy, odorless, and next to no crystals. They were stressed and I cut them early but still they were not worth my time.

The 4way my friend grew got a few bananas about a week before chop but the bud was nice and sweet with decent potency.

The NL x Shiva (growing still atm) I really like a lot. They were very consistent from seed to seed and grew nicely, good yield, decent taste, a good amount of crystals, and good potency.

I haven't grown very many strains so I don't have any $100 or $150 strains to compare them to, but overall I'd say they are a good investment. Even if you get a pack or part of the pack that absolutely sucks, for the price you are only out $20. If you were to pay $100 for some seeds, you could get 5 packs or Nirvana for that price. Out of all those you are bound to get some good phenos that are worth keeping moms of.

Edit: Forgot to throw in some pics:
