Wow, my Blue Mystic's look paltry in comparison. I'm at 61 days today and still no amberish trichs. Also my buds are pretty small, thought it was a trait of this strain but apparently not. And the leaves of my upper buds are extremely narrow and long, unlike yours. Wha!

OK guys. This plant did not grow what I was expecting. This is there discription.

Hawaii Maui Waui is a lanky tropical sativa, long a main attraction of the Hawaiian Islands. This strain has a citrus aroma and smooth fruity herbal flavour. The buzz from Hawaii Maui Waui is inspiring. These are old school genetics and not too overpowering like modern indoor strains tend to be. Through years of inbreeding we have captured that taste of the Valley Island.

What I got was a short Indica pheno? smell is Citrus and is a very nice smoke. I did not pop the whole pack I only did 3 2 males and this 1 female. The taste is nice smels is a bit skunky overall a nice plant to grow. I did take a big hit of this and it put me down for 2 hrs total couch lock. For the money a good choice for any grower very easy to grow.

Well yea Nirvana is cheap and u mostly end up with a nice overal plant. But i dont think it are the strains they say, like the guy above me. "Tropical Lanky Sativa" And he ends up with a Short-Indica Plant,

Not trying to bash on Nirvana but, u cant say "Ive grown Skunk#1" if it came from Nirvana, because it could of been anything. No offense,

oregon_guy thanks for the info i bought blue mystic years ago maybe 5 or more.. never tried it but your pic looks real nice i was under the impression that it was a blueberry copy but now im not so sure

Here are some pics from my recent (as in, still curing) Blue Mystic grow. You can see the entire journal at the link in my sig. BTW, their small size is mostly due to the fact that they were flowered at about the 3rd internode...I'm sure the results would be better if I had vegged them longer. These two also lived out their flowering stages in the same 5 gallon Airpot, which made each individual plant smaller due to root room.

Presently I've popped 4 white widow seeds. Seeds all showed their tails within 24 hours. Floated some in water for about 3 hours, then into the wet paper towel.

Grew 4 out so far, and out of 4 only got 1 female. No idea how she'll do yet as they were just sexed about 3 days ago. So I've popped 3 more seeds and they're in the solo cups in what will be the mom cab. I'm just trying to get a good mom or 2. But if I get 3 more males, I may just seed one of the clones I'm making. Keep trying until I get a good mommy plant.

So overall, I'm happy with how fast the seeds popped. I'm disappointed in the male/female ratio. But I only popped 4 seeds, so take that with a grain of salt. Once I pop all seeds out of the pack, I'll have a better overall feeling for my pack.

But I can say all the plants I grew out were very nice and healthy. Had some nice explosive growth. They were very lush and green, and even though they were mostly male, still a pleasure to watch grow. I'm hoping the 1 female I have turns out to be a nice pheno. (I already took 6 cuttings from her. Would be great to make a nice mom right out of the gate).

This is my first time with Nirvana seeds. So by far I am no expert on their packs. Just relaying my experience to date. I still think for the price it's well worth it. We'll see how I feel after I pop the other 6 seeds though.

Agreed, Nirvana are excellent for what they do, I have just started growing again after a 5 year absence (also my first attempt at indoors) and it is good to have access to a range of decent genetics at a bargain price that I can afford as I am doing it on a serious shoestring at the moment.

Am growing Cali Orange, I know it aint the real deal Cali O but that matters not to me at the moment, all I need is some decent plants to learn from but not be devastated if it all goes tits up!

Seems easy enough to grow, considering I have managed to do it!
Popped two, 1 went hermie after about 2 weeks 12/12, the remaining plant has about a week left before chop chop day and is looking mighty fine for my first attempt under CFLs!

Quick update on the HMW. After a 3 week cure I had me another test bowl. The Smell has retained a Citrusy skunk aroma. The taste is like a chem citrus flavor. The beans where a freebie from a seedbank for sending me the wrong seeds. This is the first strain I have grown from Nirvana. Since I did not grow out the whole pack and had just 1 female This pheno was more Indica. The other 7 beans may be something more on the sativa side I will find out when I do the rest.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with the AK48.

I have another thread with a lot of pictures in it or you can just check out my album.

She was a beauty and I'm actually revegging her now so I can get some clones and then flower her 1 more time.

They were vegged for 4wks. They were put into 12/12 on 6/14. I'm hoping they are girls. What do you guys & girls think...how do they look? #2 has been very vigorous throughout it's life so far.

I got 3 nirvana beans 1bubbleiciuos,1white widow,1 bluemystic. all3 popped but only 2 made it out . now they are in peatpots and 7th. day growth. Just have to wait and see if any females?The whitewidow died.

Ok, lil update on my nirvana WW. Before I start, I will say I have no pics. The wife (aka the warden) has told me if she finds out I put any more pics up than are already there, she'll pull the plug on the whole deal. It kinds sucks, but at the same time I'm glad she's security minded.

Anywho, the 1 female out of 4 has been happily flowering for about 3-4 weeks now. Not 100% sure on the time, as I usually go by trich colors to determine my harvest time, so keeping a calander is not really high on my priority list. I have to say even though I wasn't thrilled with the male to female ratio, the girl has grown VERY well. Already getting crystally, and she still has a long way to go. Her growth was explosive to put it mildly. Be prepared, when you think she's done with her stretch, you're probably wrong. She can really sneak in some height when you're not looking. Seriously, it's like overnight and suddenly she's hugging the bulb. Got a little scorch mark on the very top of my girl. Nothing horrible, but it's annoying personally. So without a doubt, stay on top of her and watch her.

And if you choose to grow nirvana's WW, make sure your odor control is in check. Cause she STANKS! Just the one girl I have going had me freshening up my odor controls.

So now I have 3 more seed I had popped out of the WW pack. They went into the flower room about a week ago. So I'll get back to everyone when I get a better feel for the m/f ratio with these. I've already taken cuttings off them. In case of female, I want a clone to mommy out.

To sum up, 1 out of 4 was female...more info to follow. Explosive growth when you least expect it. Light feeder, very healthy looking plant. Lots of bud sites, and buds crystal up early...already spreading to the fan leafs. Cloned easy to make a mom. All in all, looks like a good pheno so far. I'm just watching for yield now, but so far very happy with this girl.

Howdy folks,
A few pic's of Nirvana's Jock Horror & AK-48, both are at around week 4. This will be last run of the season. Both are an ease to grow and smoke.

Yet another update. Well the ratio of m to F has changed. The 3 seeds I germed have grown and shown. All 3...female. That puts my ratio to 4 females and 3 males from one pack. Luck of the draw.

And I have to say I have never seen trich production like my WW girl is showing. Getting crystals all the way out to the large fan leafs. It's still early. I would have to say by just eyeballing it, there's at least 3-4 more weeks for her. Maybe more. Buds are growing everywhere. She's throwing hairs up like crazy. I can't wait to see the buds fatten up.

One of the 3 new girls did go tri on me. But it's a female, so I'm going to watch for hermis. But I watch for them anyway, but I may give this one more than the standard once over. I have rooted clones of each one of them too. Going to pick the best 2 phenos and make moms. (I think I will make a mom out of the tri anyway. Just because)

So all in all, I started out being on the fence and went right to being VERY happy. I'll update one more time after chop/dry/cure. I'm hoping she smokes as good as she looks.
