Hello Charasébom,
They don't look bad for 45 days, just a little behind mine as far as bud development. Mine went 62 days before harvest, here's what you have to look forward to...

but on the nirvana site it sais 10-12 weeks of bloom thats 70-79 day's and you're plants are ready at 62 ????

how's that ??

how long are you going to let 'm bloom Charasébom ???

Jock is a multiple hybrid of Northern Light, Skunk and Haze. which delivers a strong up buzz. This variety produces so much resin even the branches glisten with glands. Jock Horror has a very unique fresh flavour and packs a strong up buzz. Finishes earlier than original Jack of a few years ago. One of our favourites.

Plant type: Best suitable for indoor growing.
Plant height: Tall- Mostly Sativa
Stoned or high?: Sativa High- Cereberal Buzz
THC level: Strong 15-20%
Flowering Weeks: 10/12
Yield (Sea of Green on one m2) : 350/400
Harvest Month: 9/10
Grow difficulty: Moderate

Hi people!!! Nice buds you had in there Abby Normal....and just 62 days. Do you think its possible mine jock horror plants harvest at same time? I think i`ll just take them the hand when they make 2,5 months (15 October, more 3 weeks), but if i saw they´re prepared i can cut them before?

Cheers

Charasébom - The buds in the picture I posted previously was actually harvested a little early at 55 days due to a few male flowers that decided to pop out, and I did not want to spend the time picking them off, or run the risk of them pollinating undeveloped seeds on my other gals. There is nothing worse than smoking seeds, especially the tiny little baby ones you can't see! If you want to compare yours to mine, I have a pretty good record of photos in my thread here:

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=6709&page=7&pp=15

If I can give you any advice, it would be to harvest when the plant is ready, not according to anything else, especially other people, or something in print. If you don't have one, purchase a small handheld microscope so you can see the trichs, and harvest according to your taste. I personally prefer to have all trichs cloudy with a small percentage of amber. In my experience, the Jock finished around 60 - 66 days. I had two different phenos, one produced the colorful "big banana" buds you saw in the last pic, while the other produced more of a heavy headed "war club" type bud. Here's an example:

Jock Horror Harvested at 66 days

Best of luck on your grow!

PhatDaddyNugzYo - To be honest, I never weighed them, but I believe I got about 14 ounces total off her. That picture was buds all from one plant, there should still be a full plant photo of her in my Bud Shack thread.

big bud - What you see listed from the seed companies is meant to give you a rough idea of what to expect from a particular strain, it is not gospel! There are so many variables that can affect maturity and growth, such as environmental conditions (temperature and humidity), light length and intensity, nutrients and feeding, pests and disease, and so on. Again, the only true way to gauge the ripeness of your buds is to look at the trichs!

newtogreen - I did indeed experience hermi's one time, I believe the plant is extremely sensitive to any light during its dark cycle.

I shall pick no bud before its time!
