I am really interested in the PE (in fact any and all C99 crosses) - I am one of those poor sorry fools who never got to try C99 - I read so much good stuff about this plant - I would really like to try it or one of it's crosses.
If you want to grab some quality Cunderella then head over to either Seed Boutique or Seed Bay. Both are selling Mosca Negra's C99 BXI as well as his C99 F1.
And from what I'm aware, in Seed Boutique, if you buy any House of Love seeds you'll get a pack of C99 F3 for free!!
Plenty if Cinderella sunshine to be had my brother!
Back after my week abroad in sunny Greece. Lovely cocktails and intense sun!
What's better is that my main harvests were all dry and ready for a manicure to go into jars. My Victoria Clipper testers need another good few days of drying but my Pineapple Express and Critical Jack Herer are perfectly dried.
What I'm even happier about is my reveg attempts are a success! I left a good amount of popcorn still on the stem of the PE girl and on the VC testers before I left and they're already showing signs of revegging. Still a few weeks away until I can take cuts, but they didn't dry out whilst I was away.
I'm dead gutted though that my CJH died from the high heat the UK was having before I left, it's a keeping in my book. Managed to make around 18 CJHxVC seeds as well as some PExVC seeds as well! Makes some space for some future projects I guess
Either way, that's enough blab for now, haha!
Pineapple Express at harvest:
Pineapple Express dried and manicured (not same bud I don't think):
Critical Jack Herer all dry and pretty. (No before shots, she looked a state!):
All jarred up (CJH left, PE right, trim/larf 3 smaller jars):
Final weights after a proper manicure; CJH: 40g and PE: 58g. Bang on 3.5oz of buds and a huge amount of sticky trim for making oil.
I'm honestly surprised the CJH yielded as much as she did as she wasn't enjoying the summer heat much. Her early demise wasn't ideal either, yet she is a good bit denser than the PE.
So all round another happy harvest! Stay tuned to see what I'm planning for next round.
I'll be giving the Phantom a go to see if there are any phenos I like the look of for future rounds.
I'm currently revegging a Victoria Clipper for another bash at that as well.
The Chemmy Jones F2's are Connoisseur Genetics that I made myself. 3 different (but similar) fathers as at the time I wasn't sure what genetic traits I wanted to look for, so I just used them all, hehe.
The Prophet is the Pre '11 variety that was on the Bay not too long back. Snagged them as I have heard the post '11 uses a different dad and isn't as good. One seed is slightly dented but there are still 10 healthy ones in there
Sadly no. I use 2x55w bulbs per cabinet. It was only 98g yield from 240w of light. Considering the heat I was up against I'm still happy. Will last me until Xmas and beyond at the rate that I vape bud
Oh right on man, I would check out the chemmy jones, you had the regular version? I have the fem version from freebies and found a pretty nice female which is why I told you to pop them... lol
I've heard of the prophet just couldn't see any beans, i would pop a few of those if you can...
Ok i get it now... are all your cabs running on the same schedule or perpetual? i thought they were perpetual and the 98g was from one cab not all of them... either way nice job bro. 3.5 oz is nothing to be upset about!
Yeah man, reg seeds. I prefer them over female as it guarantees future genetics even if a mother plant dies.
I ran a CJ clone for a good few cycles whilst I ran perpetual. Will leave it on the back bench for now, but it's a high yielding tasty strain for sure!
I was running my cabs perpetual with each scrog cab ~2 weeks apart for consistent harvests. A good 9 weeks before my holiday I flipped my last 3 cabs onto 12/12 so I could pull a harvest before I went away.
Now that I don't have plans to be going anywhere for a good while, I'll be doing perpetual again. Just need to get some clones taken of the PE and VC when theyre ready. Selecting mothers from seed stock will take a little longer obviously.
**Other News**
Ordered some upgrade parts for the cabs. Nothing major, but 2 more 65k PL-L bulbs for the cabs. This means I will have 1x27k and 1x65k bulb per cabinet. Will reduce stretch and tighten up the buds a bit
Got some coco ordered too, along wih some plastic sheeting to waterproof the bottom of the cabs. Will allow me to fit 10 small pots into a cab, rather than my current 8.
More nutes and the usual all ordered too. If anyone is wondering, the Lucas forula is the shit.
Good call on the added lighting, just make sure your environment will not suffer at the cost of the added light... plastic sheeting for floor is great call, I use pond liner but it gets expensive.. what was you material advertised as?
yeah the chemmy jones I got was freebie deal during the holiday so I had no choice but to get fems.. I agree tho on regs for making future seed stock... sometimes there are some DANK fems tho that are hard to pass up... and you can always outcross the fem to a regular male and there you go! Idk how that is thought of in breeding terms...
No not at all. I currently have 2 cabs with 2x27k and 2 cabs with 1x27k & 1x65k. I'll take a 27k out of 2 cabs and replace them with the 65k so they will all have mixed spectrums. I wouldn't be able to control the heat if I just straight up added the bulbs in there as extras.
I think it was just labeled as black plastic polythene sheet. The description said that its 400guage (100mu) thick. I won't be dragging rocks or anything sharp over it. It's mainly to catch a little waste water from the bottom if my pots.
A couple of my crosses that I've made have been using fems. I haven't had a chance yet to grow them out, but I don't see how it would be an issue unless they were made with stressed hermie plants, which breeders haven't been doing for years now.
Haven't forgotten about you JohnQQ, just trying to find the time to put the thread together. I have most of the photos that I need already taken. Hopefully in the next few days!
