the dog i was talking to the last guy about was a cane corso
its just a puppy now but will grow to be a big dog, he was asking too much money for what he had so i think im going to pass

You should get a dog, Pops. Theyre good company. A cane corso is a strong, powerful dog. I hope you treat it firmly but kindly.

There was shrimp alfredo and potatoes and biscuits and fruit and cookies so it was a filling meal, i had one plate and some fruit and felt satisfied.

There's a dish native to Minnesota called 'hot dish' which is a casserole topped by tator tots. Crispy potatoes is always good eats. Superx would call them chips. I wonder if they have tots in Ireland.

The 20oz bone in ribeye at the Oceanside TX roadhouse is $37, not $30. That's that california living tax you have to pay.

Yeah, worst of all worlds, bears still lost but hawks didnt cover. Ah well. I did lay an under 20 and 22 total pts bets in the 3rd qtr when both offenses continued looking inept. Helped make up for the losses but not completely.

maybe I'll go to Texas roadhouse.
They have a pork chop on the menu that is very good.
A nice hearty breakfast is good for any meal, Buzz, and im sure those crab cakes were awesome. Probably at least half crab meat, not just a bunch of filler.
My sister has usually hosted a Christmas Day brunch over the years. I wanted to do something for the family so the burden would not fall on her this year. Her fruit salad was outstanding and it featured gooseberries.
MamaD makes crab cakes with 8 saltines to a pound to bind the lump meat.
those crab cakes sound awesome! do you guys top it with any kind of sauce?
The jumbo lumps were truly jumbo and the cakes were sweet and good to eat. No sauce on her cakes.
your bears could one day dance again
You reminded me of another bear that danced.

Dancing Bear Disses Dolly

I have Bonnie the Dog waiting for you to show up here. She has been to N. California where she enjoyed peeing on a redwood. She will be 13 this March so don't take too long to get here. She is the last and only one left.

A hot dish sounds like a variation on green bean casserole that people make for the holidays, instead of green beans you use ground beef (and maybe onions and cheese) and instead of topping with crispy fried onions you use tater tots. I guess the only common element is the cream of mushroom soup.

No sauce for the krabby patties? I guess if the food is well seasoned and juicy enough you dont need sauce. TX bbq is sometimes like that, not big on the sauce, relies on the rub for flavoring.

That's not a bad idea, maybe u should go adopt a rescue. Might be hard to find a rescue cane corso but there might be some local organization that fosters ones in need. Those are trickier tho since theyre usually not puppies.

i was not looking for this breed of dog but i saw this ad on craigslist that said something about rehoming the dogs so i inquired only to find out the guy is selling puppies
/he has my price
im going to check out the shelters next and if i can find a dog that i click with i dont care what breed of dog it is
yeah the hawt dish had tater tots in it and i made one once with hash browns, but like you said all kinds of good stuff poured into a casserole pan and then set to cook for an hour @350
i was rooting for your bears last night and that fumble recovery turned touch down could have been the turning point of the game
other than all the sacking going on i thought your offense was ok, especially for having a rookie qb
/build that o'line and get top end coach and you will be the dancing bears in a few years

oh man! those crab cakes have got to be so good man, you know your recipe would be safe with me
that was nice of you to host this year! and it sounds like good food with good people
you and bonnie are family so i cant take her, but i am seriously thinking of getting a dog of my own

When was the last time you had a dog, Pops? It can be a big commitment, the caring and feeding it for its entire life. Picking up thousands of poops. If you can train it to use the toilet and flush afterwards that would be a big help.

Maybe ill try making a hot dish as a side for next holiday season. It's both meat and side i guess.

There was some confusion at the end of the game when the bears were going for game tying FG. They were going to punt but took a time out and then went for it on 4th down and converted, so that worked out. Later instead of trying a 57yd FG they went for it on 4th down and caleb threw an int. Another late game failure by the bears. Hopefully the next head coach will be better in those situations.

I wonder how Captain Kangaroo kept his eyes on Dolly's face during the skit. Man is truly a great actor.

my last dog ukie passes like over 5y ago, she was the best!
yeah dogs can be a lot of work but ive grown up around dogs and this is the longest ive been w/o one
yeah i saw the bears game, lots of bad but the defense was ok and overall you have some decent pieces on the o
i think if caleb had more time to set his feet he might be able to make better reads at least unlit he develops) and a strong line could also open up more holes for the ground game or create better lanes for those screen passes
try the hash brown casserole, its more a side to me but it has everything you want all baked in there

so i might have the line an a cattle dog
some guy is trying to rehome "him i need to talk to this guy because im not into the txts for things like this

It took me three years to get over the death of our dog Winston. I have loved our dogs and I miss each of them. Bonnie is the last dog. That makes me sad facing that reality. I do not want my dog to outlive me.

You will find a good dog, @pop_rocks; male or female?

If ur starting to get the itch for another pet, maybe it's time to get one then.

The defense before Eberflus was fired was playing decent but after he was gone they took a step back. TNF they held the seahawks to 6 pts but the rain helped keep the passing game in check (for both sides) and it was just a weird game, neither offense could sustain a drive. They play the packers last game of the season and i fully expect theyll give up 28+.

That hashbrown casserole looks like it's full of cheese and fat, delicious but not rabbit food. Youve made it for breakfast or for holiday dinners?

Dogs are awesome nonjudgmental companions, Buzz. Do you find the boys and girls have distinct personalities? The girl dogs i had last time were not friendly to strangers for some reason, i had to watch them carefully when out and about.

Cattle dogs are very smart, Pops, do u still do a lot of hiking? That'll help burn off some of their energy. Maybe it can herd your chickens and guard them at night. You sometimes have raccoon attacks on the coop still?

@Bababooey
no we havent had any racoons in the yard in a while, at least none messing with the chickens but the skunks are out in force thsi year its not uncommon to be walking around the neighborhood early in the morning and smell that really strong skunk smell
we used to have a cattle dog, his name was jack
he was a great dog, but would get into all kinds of trouble with all his smarts
yeah i still get out and i was thinking the same thing how a dog would be my new hiking buddy
i need to talk to the guy and see if i can meet the dog first before i commit myself to anything
/plus i might be going away for a couple days later next week so this might not be the best time to get a new dog
i also contacted the local animal shelter and they want me to come down and fill out some papers and then i can schedule a visit with them and their dogs
this might be a thing to deal with in the new year
chargirls v pawts right now, followed by denver v bengals
i will keep half an eye on them while im doing other stuff in anticipation of tonights game!
rams v az
i hope we can crush kylers candy and take one more step closer to the postseason
/the defense has been playing well and the offense is hot hot hot
the o/u is like 47.5
juicy? :)

@buzzmobile
yeah man, its hard to say goodbye to a loved pet and the heart needs time to heal
the cattle dog is a girl about 2-3 yo so we will see
i want to know why the guy needs to rehome her and just meet with the dog to see if we hit it off
oh the adventures we would have

oh i almost forgot to add!! today is the snoop dog bowl!
awwwwww yeahhhhhhh
its going to be packed and im sure that joint will be blazing

Heat your oven to 400-425 and put it on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Probably be better than if they cooked it more. Looks damn good.

Ya, today was rough, but it was still an exciting game. At least we can see flashes in Bo Nix so there's some optimism for the future.

Around here, I'd say Brooklyn's Finest or Blue Pan Pizza are my favorites. But there are lots of good place in Denver. I also like Little Ceasars Deep Dish, (Pan Pan as it was called back in the day), Pepperoni Lovers Pan pizza from Pizza Hut, and even Dominos Deep Dish when they cook it enough.

I love me some pie. Especially cherry, :p
