I didnt get to see Buzz's and Hippy's last post before posting.
Hopefully the steroid shot works well, Buzz, like Superx said gotta take care of all ur body parts as you age. Are there any side effects from that? Do you become huge and ripped?

I did see FSU hire new coordinators. Funny that Malzahn lost his job as head coach of UCF and turned right around and got hired by FSU. He hasnt been a consistently good head coach but as an OC i think he'll be good so long as u get him a QB. He was the OC of Auburn when cam newton led them to a championship. The next cam newton may be too much to expect but QBs from USC and TxA&M have entered the portal, they were starters who were benched during the season but they still have some pedigree.

The league suspended Azeez 3 games for the hit so that's almost 20% of his pay gone this season. He also had a late hit the previous game on a RB that was going out of bounds and was flagged but not ejected for that. Plus he punched a bears player in the face when they played earlier this season. The suspension noted he tried to instigate fights with jaguars players after the hit as well. If he puts another dirty hit on a QB, Hippy, i expect his suspension to be at least 5 games, possibly half a season.

I have no idea what's going on in the PL nowadays but that wont stop me from losing money. I remember that play where the defender twisted Herbert to the ground, that was dangerous for his knee, that lineman was righteous for pushing the defender off like that. Yeah Pops it seems like stafford's mind meld switched to Puka from Kupp. Had a parlay on 2nd half rams receiving/passing and Kupp's receiving yards in the 2nd half didn't hit, while puka's did and he had a TD to boot. Cooper is already 31 yrs old, he came into the league as a 24yr old so he might be on the downside of his career now. But ill still remember his 2021 season where he had the receiving triple crown, led the league in catches, TDs and yardage.

Are you sure it's coyotes, Hawk? Did the pup go missing at night? Usually coyotes start hunting at twilight.
They look a little large to be puppies, maybe a little too large for coyotes to grab one. Are there roads nearby? Maybe they got hit by a car instead? Not that that would be any better.
Best thing to do is keep them close to the house if u can. I know farm dogs love to roam but sounds like it's dangerous out there.

5.56 is a good coyote gun,

but if you cant get your hands on that a decent air rifle might be ok but i dont think it has the punch you want
the thing is i dont think a pellet will kill the coyote right away and that not cool to shooting something and let it die in the brush
there are traps you can used but those are big and expensive

sooper cooper is drawing a lot of the attention from the defense but you are right about how he just dosent seem to be producing like he used to
this does open up opportunities for sooper pooker and also d.rob (demarcus.robsinson), but like i said if the right deal came at them it might be worth considering
that was a dirty hit on t.law and like you said this is not a good look for azeez
as you mentioned the league is going to hammer him on his next offense and you know the other teams are all going to be keeping an eye on him

We're relieved here in Broncos Country. Too may years looking for our franchise QB. Ever since Manning left its been a circus. Nix took a few games to warm up and get comfortable. But I'm liking what I'm seeing. Finally there is hope again! We should've beat the Chiefs, but they got lucky as hell with that blocked field goal with no time left on the clock.

Nix and sean payton have been impressive for sure. Like u said, first few games were rough, and payton's 1st year with russell wilson was really rough, but things are looking up. Defense is good, not getting 70pts scored on them anytime soon, offense is ascending. Maybe need a difference maker at RB and WR and they could be a contender so long as nix keeps improving.

Maybe getting a pellet gun isnt the worst idea. Like pops said they wont kill a coyote unless it's a head shot but wounding one would make them stay away, and it could heal up fine if the wound isnt serious.

That's what old school guys shoot. MamaD bought it for me from a neighbor's gun shop he owned in town. She liked the idea that it would take down any animal in North America.

No I do not. The ammunition was very very scarce during Covid and what was available was outrageously expensive. I don't recall the brand I bought but a box of 20 was $60 for their super duper ballistic tipped cartridges. Good old Remington 180 grain Core Lokt can be found for $20-$30 a box.

Mind your own back man, not liking the sounds of that spinal injection, if that's what it takes for some sort of relief and comfort, unfortunately we only have the one spine..

The injections last about 4 months and as long as they relieve my pain they keep me off of the operating table. I had too many years of hard work and I am now paying the price. The process takes about 15 minutes and it starts with a couple of anesthetic injections. He works with an Xray scope and then injects a dye to locate the steroid injection site. When the steroid is pushed there can be some pain that runs down my left leg to my toes. I say 'ow' when that occurs and Doc stops for a few seconds.

I don't have a solution to your coyote problem. They are smart and wary and a part of the landscape. We have them around here. They are definitely a target if one shows up while hunting.

The shots are effective. The site will be sore for a couple of days and then I can go about my regular activity keeping this old house a home.

I think if u hand load you can make your own match grade ammunition for much less than factory match grade ammo. But if you dont do a lot of target shooting then it's probably overkill, i cant imagine you shoot very many rounds when hunting.
At what ranges do you take most of your deer? Within 300 yds? Match grade ammo wouldnt be that much better at shorter ranges like that, i think...

Raclette is a bit of a stinky cheese so using the raclette warmer for your feet may produce a very similar odor.

That's a good idea to avoid the knife as long as u can, Buzz, i hear of so many people who get back surgeries and they regret it later, causes more problems than it solved. Do you wear a back brace when you have to lift stuff? That's a must as well.

Those .50 cal air guns are more expensive than most rifles, Buzz. Plus i dont know about iowa but in IL u need the firearm owner's card to own a pellet gun that goes over a certain fps, same as a real gun.

Ill be watching the game tonite, i think lions take it but packers beat the +3.5 spread. Lions D-line has a good amount of injuries, sapping their depth, so i think the packers put up a decent amount of pts. I like the over 51.5 as well, it's in Detroit which is a domed stadium.
