Since I was a kid and it was just a silly little 'fun fact to know'. I grew up in Homestead. Mom and Dad moved us from Miami after my Grampa died. There is a small town just south of Homestead named Florida City.

Tigers and Lions fan was born way before Dolphins Buccaneers Jaguars Marlin and Manta Rays were imagined.

My friends growing up had some knock down drag out fights with their older siblings. I remember one kid he pulled out a big kitchen knife on his older sis, took a swipe not too close to her and then put it back. He was mostly kidding, i think.
Boxing definitely seems like a good sport to learn, not only for self defense and confidence but getting in incredible shape if u take it seriously enough.
Like Pops said, brothers are always beating each other up but im guessing u all have each other's back when someone from outside the family is threatening one of u.
Im glad ur big friend seems to be doing alright after that lengthy stint in the big house, id be furious if i was wrongfully convicted. Seems like it'd be free $$ to pursue the wrongdoers in court but maybe ur friend wants to leave the past in the past.
That was a heck of a game last night, kirk cousins threw for a team record 509 yards. The previous record was 503 by matty ice in his 2016 mvp year. The nfc south looks to be a pretty darn competitive division, even the panthers are no longer pushovers with dalton at QB.
You seem to be making that polish sausage with onions/peppers a lot lately, Pops, do u eat it in a bun with mustard, chicago style?

Horses are pretty cool especially if theyre friendly. Seems like a lot of work to maintain tho, need some land and lots of food for them.
Sounds like ur dad and his buddies started mixed martial arts tournaments before that was a thing. And there was betting going on? Hope u won ur dad more $ than he lost.
Ah haha, forgot that FL didnt have all the pro teams back then that they have now, makes sense the transplants had to follow their teams from back home.

Not sure what baker could have done, he never got a chance at the ball in OT. He played a heck of a game tho, they could have closed the game out with a TD late in the 4th but the RB fumbled it away in the red zone.

i had a step brother growing up who was my age
we would tussle for fun but beat the shit out of each other from time to time
/my dad did not appreciate this and would then kick my ass to let me know its not cool to beat people up
oh the fun times we had in that garage, this was the same family where we would listen to music and roller skate in their garage and driveway
but the weekends were special , especially once the dads got some booze in them
i dont really eat much bread anymore baba, so i just have it plain on a plate, but you cant go wrong with sausage, onions, peppers and lots of good yellow mustard
im going to fire up the grill and grill the next one, plus maybe some other treats
if you wear a costume and ring my bell i might give you a treat
/or you can earn your money and meet me behind wendys

they are the underdogs from what my friend tells me but i am going to maintain hope
