Ive been meaning to smoke some ribs sometime during football season, Hawk, i love a good smoked pork rib, so tender you can pull the bone out. Do you recommend baby backs or spareribs?
The pic doesnt make it look that appetizing but like pops said, im sure it tasted fine. Red wine vinegar kicked it up a notch? Interesting, i guess the acidity helped cut the fattiness of the sausage, and potatoes with a little vinegar is an underrated combo.
I think if i make it ill use mashed potatoes, pan fry that, take it out, panfry some cabbage in some oil/broth, then add some meat, etc. Gotta cook the components separately, for the most part, but u already knew that. The one pan method works too but then it looks more like a stew.
I tend to mostly do spread/ML bets, O/U bets can be iffy for me feel like im guessing most of the time, prop bets i havent had tons of luck with but am considering doing more of, i had a parlay prop bet on last night with under Rodgers yds/tds and under Purdy yds but over TDs, would have hit 3/4 if i had just made them singles. Something to think about.
Tee higgins might be out for a while and jamarr might still be half assing it until he gets paid so who knows if the bengals will round back into form. Burrow didnt look great last week even when he wasnt pressured, but week 1 has been his kryptonite, lot of QBs who dont take preseason reps start off rusty.
Tyreek isnt a good guy but most people are saying that one cop was especially aggressive. Theres no law saying u have to roll down ur window at a traffic stop but most cops order u to do it for 'officer safety'. Ur right, Hawk, he was being a dick to them but at no point was he threatening them with physical violence or deadly force. Plus u could still see into his car even through the window tint, he had no visible weapons, wasnt making 'suspicious' movements like he was getting a weapon, he told them to give him a ticket so he can be on his way.
A lot of people have been killed or had their rights violated because of 'officer safety' concerns. It's a bad look for american cops in general, especially when u compare it to some of their responses to active shooter scenarios when their willingness to engage is much more subdued.
Id like to know if Superx saw any of the Steelers game. Justin Fields QBed them to a win but it wasnt really a satisfying performance, 6 FGs and no TDs isnt going to cut it in most games. I do still like Fields but his issues are the same: against good defenses he struggles to move the ball. But the more he plays the higher the bears draft pick is for trading him, so there's that.

heres the deal. PA vs Mimms. its the law that when a cop tells you to get out of the car you have to get out of the car.and when he rolled his window up and wouldnt give him his license thats called obstruction. if he didnt give them attitude and showed them his license none of this would have happened. and then he blatantly lied in an interview saying hes mom raised him not to swear. he lied on camera. he was swearing the whole time and said fuk the cops a bunch of times.hes an idiot.

as far as the ribs go always baby back usually. if you wanna change it up though beef ribs are good too done right. ive only made them a few times but are pretty good. ive been on the lookout for this lamb bacon stuff at aldi ever since i saw this vid on youtube. ill see if i can find it. i dont believe that better than ribeye shit though. i gotta make that ribeye today.been dry brining a couple days

i went to aldis on sunday i asked about the lamb belly/ lamb bacon but the girl had no idea what i was talking about
she said a lot of thing there are seasonal, (like the crab cakes! they only had them for a limited time) so maybe i missed out? i cant wait for them to open the 2nd aldis at the other end of town
i would have cooked the sausages first so they got a good brown on them and then pulled that and cooked the veggies
then add the meat back in and toss in the sauce if needed (in this case the broth

if i had a half million plus car i wouldnt want anyone knocking on my window either but it should of been down in the first place. his whole intention was to give the cops a problem cause thats what they are taught from a young age. ive been in trouble with the law too many times i know its just not worth it. they were being overly dickish though. maybe the whole thing was planned.

super simple.just have to make sure you have a good sharp knife. my new favorite knife is a sharp cleaver. almost better than a chefs knife almost in every way. imo of coarse. im loving this cheapo i got from china. chinese are masters of the cleaver. super dead serious

There was plenty of testosterone flowing on that traffic stop. Hill was pulled over for a traffic violation. That means the cop has authority to issue commands. It was all about the window being up or down after Hill turned over his license.

@Bababooey , Sunday was a Florida bonanza with Jags v Dolphins in the early game and Commanders v Buccaneers followed. Lawrence was good and the defense was tough. It gave me hope for the Jags to do well this year. TV broadcasts of the Dolphins are rare in the north of Florida. Another rarity has been the running game. The second half showed some promise.
I can happily root for the Bucs again. There was an actual running game again. Baker looked like he was having fun.
Sure the cops can order u out of ur car on a traffic stop, but they put hands on him when he wasnt getting out as quick as they wanted him to. That's the troubling part. And u said it yourself, he was being a dick to them, soon as they knocked on his window he was telling them "dont knock on my window like that, bro" like he was in charge and not them. Well there's no more surefire way to anger a cop than a suspect ordering them around/backtalking to them. But it shouldnt be the case that using force to subdue someone for having an attitude is normal police behavior.
Also, he did hand them his license, in the middle of telling him dont knock on my window. Dude was driving a McLaren which Hawk mentioned earlier, his driver's side window probably costs more than a cop's salary - an exaggeration but not by much.
And then like Buzz said lots of testosterone flowing that day and it wasnt so much the from the nfl players, the guys on actual steroids. Calais campbell had his hands up and was walking backwards when confronted by police but still got handcuffed for not moving his car, jonnu smith was ordered back to his vehicle and had to ID himself. If these cops had just talked to jonnu and calais like human beings and not threats it wouldnt have looked so bad.
Hill and his reps have already called for the aggressive cop to be fired so no beer will be shared between the two of them, lol. He's a 27yr vet so maybe Miami PD will stick him in fingerprinting or evidence until he retires.
Beef ribs are a nice change up, kinda expensive tho. Costco carries them and they're like $30 each but they have plenty of meat on each one.

the steak was medium rare and it was really good. maybe it looks a little rare cause i dry brined it for 2 or 3 days and it pulled all the moisture out and looks discolored or it was the lighting.its pink not bluish. i got a piece left. maybe ill take a better pink.there is almost no natural light in my house.i dont know but it tasted just fine. you dont wanna go past medium rare on a ribeye anyway.

we used to have this spiralizer that was like this sharp metal blade you spiraled down the length of the potato but we never baked them, this was back in the fry guy day
plus all that surface area makes it a sponge for the sour cream and toppings
a good cleaver is just as important as a good chefs knife in the kitchen, round out the team with a pairing knife and you are set man

the reason i like lamb so much is because my uncle was a meat broker and he was getting some of the best beef,lamb and pork straight from one of the best and oldest farmers in the midwest.hes like 78 now and hes like 5th generation farmer. his meat is unreal. no homo. hes even got an old country road named after his family.
