Once you adopt a dog and it gets settled in, do u think you'd take it on a road trip with you? Dogs generally love car rides, not sure if the places you'd stay would love having a pet with you.

I had 'Zona ML at +240 for the rams game, Pops, but Kyler threw 2 int's including one at the ram's 1 yd line with less than a minute left. Geez that guy must be frustrating to watch for Cards fans.

Bears games have been a lesson in masochism, Hawk. Didnt even get to enjoy the loss as the bears beat the spread.

I was thinking of getting little caesar's recently but didnt, are you using the app? If u pay for it on the app you can just pick it up from their little vending machine shelf they got in the store, put in your code and grab ur food and leave without talking to anyone.

Is there a denver or colorado style pizza, PW? Something that's somewhat unique to the area?

I actually broke down and got domino's last week, and had the emergency pizza to use after. It's no Buzz's scratch made pizza, but for what it is, it's alright.

Funny, it was our boy dog that was very clingy, not the girls. Have you always had golden retrievers? Or are they labs? Both are awesome dogs, in general. Good with kids, strangers, all around pleasant dispositions, etc. Is she a food thief? If they get a hankering for human food they can eat a pound or 2 in a minute.

Ya, today was rough, but it was still an exciting game. At least we can see flashes in Bo Nix so there's some optimism for the future.

Around here, I'd say Brooklyn's Finest or Blue Pan Pizza are my favorites. But there are lots of good place in Denver. I also like Little Ceasars Deep Dish, (Pan Pan as it was called back in the day), Pepperoni Lovers Pan pizza from Pizza Hut, and even Dominos Deep Dish when they cook it enough.

I love me some pie. Especially cherry,

I have always had males until Bonnie came home with me and Wallace Franklin. As she has aged she is much more attached to me. If I get up to do something at the other end of the house she gets up and follows. She is now my shadow and is with me wherever I go in the house. She has developed 'selective hearing' over the past year and she is reluctant to respond to "Come" and "Here" commands. The old girl gets a pass.

Finding a dog that matches your lifestyle is important. Bonnie the Dog is for old people. LOL

i usually have girl dogs but i dont mind a boy
as long as its a good dog i would be happy with any dog
it would be nice to find an outdoorsy one tho

last time was when i was driving on the freeway so i started snooping and pooping and sure enough came up next to a car with two guys in it
they view from the truck is such that i can look down into other peoples cars and i could clearly see the guys passing the bowl back and forth

the truth is that is a great pie and to this day one of the best pizzas i ever had was a day old lou malnatis pizza that i had the ex bring me back when she went to chi for business

that plus their 50% off deal gives me a couple pizzas for less than $20

Don't know why but my uncle always preferred female dogs.hes had males of coarse but whenever he bought a skipperkey it was always female.he didn't breed them. Ill have to ask him one day. Always preferred males myself. However subtle there is a difference.

Well my first dog was a male skipperkey and he wasn't like other skippers.i could get into the history of them but they are our families personal favorite but mine was different.one of a kind.they are a one owner dog though so that's to put into consideration but you want a bigger dog it seems.

Damn Greenbay actually came back and almost won.dont like the vikings either but I can't root for the packers either.this is getting crazy boys.so the rams are winning their division pops? Bet you didn't see that coming

Many years ago I took a second job delivering pizzas for Domino's to pay the bills after one of MamaD's surgeries. It was a crazy busy store but I made enough to keep the wolf away from the door.

Have you always had golden retrievers? Or are they labs?

Winston was a large 'red' golden retriever. Wallace 1 was a pedigreed golden retriever. Wallace Franklin and Bonnie were from a litter of yellow lab/golden.

it would be nice to find an outdoorsy one tho

The older Bonnie gets the more selective she becomes. I know she can hear me because I see her ears perk up when I holler, "Hey!" She sticks very close to me in the house. Velcro dog attached wherever I go.

Do u know if Cali tries to prosecute drivers for DUI for cannabis, Pops? I knew a guy who got involved in a wreck decades ago that ended in the death of another driver, he had weed in his system but wasnt high at the time of the accident, it was mostly due to it being rainy and his brakes being shite but they still tried to prosecute him for reckless homicide or something. He beat the charges tho but it was a scary time for him.

Kyler murray threw for over 300 yds vs the rams but those 2 int's in the 2nd half doomed them. He's got over 3600 pass yds on 68% completion but only a 17-11 td-int ratio. I think the cards can get out of his contract after next yr but there's the question of who would take over at QB. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you dont.

Those mountain pies sound interesting, they have a big crust edge to them to hold all the toppings, and the dough is made with honey. $50 for a 5lb pizza loaded with toppings isnt cheap but that is a good amount of food, i think the most a person can normally eat is 2-3 lbs in a day and that's pushing it.

Domino's pan is pretty decent, Pops is right i wish they came larger than medium but it's alright for what it is.

The mexican takeout looks good, PW, i wonder how they kept the lettuce from steaming up in the container. When i order from my local mex takeout all the veggies get steamed and limp on the ride home.
I like how del sol express has the al pastor cone vertical spit going, have u had the al pastor? Bonus points if they layer pineapple in with the meat.

I dont think ive heard of skipperjacks before, Hawk, but they look like intelligent, active dogs. Very furry tho, they probably shed like crazy. Seems like they would be good in the snow. Not sure how they would do in hotter climates, either.

Minnesota and Detroit will play next week for home field advantage through the playoffs so that'll be big. Tonite detroit plays the 49ers, theyre only favored by 3.5 at san fran, should be a high scoring game i think, detroit's defense is limping down the stretch.

It's good that Bonnie sticks to you like glue, with these labs/retrievers their joints/hips can get a little creaky as they age so the fact she keeps moving is a good sign.

Ya those mountain pies are pretty good. People dip the crust in honey so they have honey at all the tables. I prefer the prarie pies though. The crust is good, but the toppings part is my favorite. Especially when its loaded with cheese.

I've worked at a few pizza places too. I still have dreams where I'm working at Pizza Hut. That pan crust gets me. Worked at Round Table in Tahoe too. I wasn't a big fan of their pizza but I ate a lot of it. If you came in with weed I'd hook you up with free pizza and beer. I even traded snowboarding clothes from Jim Rippey's Counter Culture clothing for pizza and beer. I still have one of my shirts but it's pretty worn. The purplest weed I've ever seen was in a trade with some guys from Humboldt county. Good times,

I never really noticed they have the meat cone. I've only been there a couple times. I'm definitely going to try the al pastor next time.

at 7-9 the cards dont have the worst record, but i just dont see the development in kandykrush you you expect at this point in his career
/who knows and he could always darnold out next year, but at some point its best to just move on
so the pan pizza was pretty good, they crust has that buttery taste and the toppings went all the way to the edge

the down side was it was kind of doughy in the middle and this is one of those pizzas i would have the cook well done

stopped by vons this morning on my way home to pick up pasta ingredients and saw they had crab cakes on sale for $5
these are crtainly nothing like the ones buzz enjoys but good enough for a quick meal or good for a fish stuffing
if they pull you over and you are smoking weed or your car smells like weed you are most likely going to get busted
they have these signs on the freeway and right now they all say stuff like buzzed driving is dui and stuff like that
even tho its legal here in california its still driving under the influence

There's a Mike's hot honey that's supposed to be a game changer for pizza. I guess sweet and spicy goes well with pizza, who knew? Ive never had it but it's around $9/bottle if your local grocery carries it.
I usually stick to ranch or marinara for my crust, a good garlic butter sauce goes well with it too but i feel all the ones from chains are just oil and artificial flavor.

Both teams combined for 74, clearing the over easily, and detroit after struggling the 1st half cleared the 3.5 spread as well. Too bad one of my bets was -2.5 Det 1st half, overall did well on the game but that was a missing leg in a parlay that would have made it even better.

Kyler's best yr was his 2nd year, in 2019, where he threw for almost 4k yards, ran for 800 and accounted for 37 tds, pass and rush. Due to various injuries, he hasnt approached those numbers since. He was healthy this whole season, maybe his team is just subpar. His best WR was a rookie who didnt look as good as 4 other rookie receivers (nabers, brian thomas jr, mcconkey and bowers).

We got seahawks at rams this last week of the season, rams are favored by 2.5. If the hawks win i believe theyll be tied with the rams, div record, head to head record, conf record, so what's the next tie breaker? Pts scored?
I dont think theyll win tho, rams have been hot with 5 straight wins, hawks barely beat a discombobulated bears team last week.

The 'za looked like it was cooked enough on the top, undercooked dough isnt good. PW has the trick tho, heat ur oven at home nice and hot and crisp that bad boy up a bit. Better if u heat some sort of steel or cast iron cooking surface first and then slide that pie on top of it, get that undercarriage nice and crisp. Buzz uses a piece of old battleship hull armor to cook his pies. It's solid steel, 6 inches thicc, weighs 100lbs and takes 4 hrs to get heated through. No wonder he has back trouble, but the pies are worth it.
