Sorry to flood this this place with pics.can anyone speak Spanish? Don't you speak Spanish pops? I can only make out some of it on the ham.im so fucking bored View attachment 18972965
Yo hablo bastante espanol para hablar. ;)
Apple Wood Smoked
Each Master Carve Kirkland Signature Extrafino Ham is smoked slowly with apple wood that gives a rich naturally sweet and smoky flavor.
We remove the bone for you so you don't have to do it and the result is 100% usable deliciously tender and juicy meat.
Product Varies By Weight
Keep Refrigerated

Sounds like you kicked some ass buzz
I kicked some and some of my ass got kicked in return. The Texas Tpick had to come into play to set the 4x4 deep enough. By the time I had it chopped through I was doing the Eefin' Offin' breathing style to recover. Bend slightly forward and gasp to the rhythm of eefinoffin.

Goddamit those fucking Deere belts can be a pain in the ass!
I have gone through several mowers. One was stolen out of a shed. Another I ran until it broke in half one day. There was a Craftsman mower that was faithful until the Reverse gear went bad. John Deere was next and had I known that the mower deck has to be removed from the tractor to grease and replace belts I would have found another brand. So it goes.
Is there a living tree those roots are attached to, Buzz?
Yes there is a very large pecan tree a few feet away. I am very attached to that tree as there have been many hours of family gatherings and party times spent under the shade of that tree.
The sun plaque mounted on the tree is about 4' across from tip to tip. Two people cannot join hands around the trunk. The spinner is standing between the sun plaque and the bird feeder. The metal pole was almost rusted through at the base. I'll get a picture of the new mount later today. It is guaranteed not to rust bust or sag in the middle.

But hawk would probably still need heat proof gloves to get it on and off, not sure...
Those grill tools make good grill grate grabbers. A sturdy spatula can slide between the grid and lever it up like a handle.
that looks like mans work to replace that belt buzz but i have some awesome tools brother
first we will have to burn down a few and maybe knock back a couple beers
/can you guys get white lightning in fla?
you are on your own as far as the digging goes, that is something for young people with young backs
It is certainly a man work project, @pop_rocks , and bring all the awesome tools you have just in case I cannot find my 15mm 3/8" drive deep socket. We can burn a few or a many, and I have a self imposed two beer limit these days. However! It is a man work project so there may be a variance ordered.
Yes there is white lightning in Florida. I know a guy who knows.
Didn't know you had a real John Deere.
It's a real small John Deere.

I am pleased to hear you are going to fight the Grizzly. Your teeth tongue mouth and throat all say thank you.

I have a long ago memory of seeing the circus. I remember the elephants and the man shot out of the cannon.

Would you vote for aaron rodgers and RFK jr if they ran on an independent ticket? They'd be lucky to get 2% of the vote but I might do it for the memes.

Minstache is in vegas now, all those milfs going for bachelorette trips need to watch out, their next baby might be born with a full grown mustache and jorts.

Replacing a timing belt isnt so bad when u have the tools but it's good Buzz took a pic of it before he took the old belt off. The hardest part was getting to it, buzz said he had to remove the mower deck which i dont know what that is but sounds like a pain.

Yeah i too have a hard time understanding how DB went through a can of dip a day, that's quite a habit, i guess when he gets addicted he goes ALL THE WAY. But it's good if he can kick that habit, like buzz said it's hell on ur mouth parts and DB will now have an extra 4-500 bucks a month to squander on whores. Do they have street hookers in boston, DB? Ur a military veteran, u should have a sixth sense on where to find some.

I think u got those tools below cost so a nice purchase, Hawk, and like buzz said u can use those to pick up the grate.
The steaks look perfect, perfect medium, very juicy, bacon wrap looks properly cooked too. Did u grill them on their sides a bit to cook up the bacon more? How long did u cook them for? Very nice job. Are you using briquettes? How do u like the wood smoke flavor? Quite a change from the oven/stove top right?

Sounds like Buzz is quite fluent in spanish, does he hang out with lots of cubans in FL? I hear in southern FL there's entire communities where a person can get by just speaking spanish their whole life.
Or Hawk has android and he can take a pic and have the text recognized and translated, right? There's a google translate app, maybe that can do it.
That's a lovely tree, Buzz, old trees are like old friends, they're always there for u giving u support (protection from the sun). Do u get a large pecan harvest every fall? I bet the squirrels swarm like flies around that time.

The only place to find hookers is probably Chinatown...but there's cops and stings are always in the paper. I'm going to Centerfolds in Boston eventually. Gonna wear sweatpants and rock a raging boner.

i dont know how long i cooked them baba. probably 4 to 5 minutes per side but i flipped them a couple times. didnt need to cook the bacon on its side plus the grill being so little i got a concentrated stream of smoke assualting me in the face so i wasnt gonna stand there for a few minutes holding the meat on its side. but yeah turned out good. little disappointed with the sirloin but i still got a ribeye and some pork steaks to cook. and a big ole salmon

There ya go doob. show those whores whos boss! Wish there were whores by me. Could probably find a meth or crackhead but i dont wanna get robbed

whats happening boys!
had a great day being busy around the house and going to the store
i got a pack of pork ribs and might have to go back and get some corned beef and cabbage for this saturday, i will prbbaly do the pork ribs tomorrow
sh!t i forgeto to get a box of corn bread mix so im definitely heading back tomorrow or sat
plus they had snow crabs on sale for $6.99/lb and now im also thinking of getting some crab
too
those steaks looks good hawk! i would have put a little more sear on them but i like my meat more on the med side
so when you grill do your turn the meat a lot? im pretty much a flip it once or twice kind of guy, but i like to get a nice color on the outside wile leaving the inside a little pink
my sister wont eat meat that has any pink in it plus she dosent like to have meat on the bone!
when i was out there i cooked up beef ribs (beef ribs are awesome!) but she wouldnt eat them until i cut the meat off the bone
/freaking weirdo!

heack yeah thats a mans work deal buzz
it would take a bit of of smoking plus standing around scratching ass but we would get it done
2 beers would be nice start, but i might need to augment the drinks selection with some nice fire water and ice tea

dont waste you $$$ on whores doobah, save that shit up and do something with that dough
for $500/month you could get yourself some wheels or put it aside for a trip
how are you at fixing lawn mowers? we could go down to buzzs place

im getting fed up with this homeless thing here in cali
they just opened new homeless housing in the east county to the tune of 6m /yr
all for people who have given up on themselves and refuse to even try
/remember these are people who have burned every bridge they had in life. if they are mentally ill there are programs to help ( i would totally support using that money to help the mentally ill or fund rehabilitation programs)
think about how maybe teachers you could hire for that money?
/sdusd is planning on some major layoffs this year because they are broke
how many young families you could have helped that are struggling to get by
but yeah lets just keep throwing money on the fire to keep bums in mini houses
f'them
/rant mode off

arog being rfk.jr vp is a joke
but what would you expect from a silver spooner who is just running on his family name
i aslo hear he is thinking of having jesse "the body" ventura as his running mate
i wonder who would draw more votes
/at least ventura has a history in politics
but rfkj has absolutely zero chance of being elected, god bless america

looks like harbaugh is looking at a full tilt rebuild around herbert
but as you know there is a curse that hangs over the chargers and somewhere a gypsy is rubbing her hands together and saying "yesssssss"

i used to flip it once pops but ive been flipping 2 or 3 times to see if theres a difference and yeah i wish theres was more char but it was cooking fast i had to pull them.im still a little rusty and this grill sucks so...

yeah i watched a bunch of vids on youtube mostly venice beach and its pretty disgusting. 3 people living in a single bathroom stall with all there garbage. You see that crazy hot girl named daisy? Crazy Daisy? She sings and dances with a little skateboard thing and shes always barefoot. surprised she hasnt cut her foot open and get hepatitus. I know that girl isnt homeless. Her and her husband have a tent on the beach and do like holistic healing crap. Girls that look like that are only homeless by choice. Think her husband is rich though. Heard they might get divorced. She may be hot but i can only deal with crazy for so long

Whos K.Allen? is he any good?

buzz said he had to remove the mower deck which i dont know what that is but sounds like a pain.
The mower deck is the big yellow thing that rides under the belly of the tractor. It is held in place with several posts, swing arms, and lynch pins. The belt has to be removed from the main drive pulley first, then the pins, then the swing arms. Once that is done the yellow deck has to be dragged from underneath the tractor to access the mower belt if it needs replacing. The zerk fittings on the three mower blade spindles are not accessible unless the deck is removed. It not only sounds like a pain, it is actually a large pain.
does he hang out with lots of cubans in FL?
As a matter of fact that is how I perfected my Spanish. Took the standard High School Spanish..."Hola, Isabel. Como estas?"
"Estoy bien, y tu?"

My freshman year at FSU I took several Spanish classes so I knew some words and sentence structures.

My Dad worked for Southern Bell and he sent me to the phone company contractor for my summer jobs. I was the only English speaking person on the job most days. That's when I started to think in Spanish. I spent most of my working days with Pedro and Rene underground working in manholes. One of our jobs involved running a line through 4" ducts from manhole to manhole using a large air compressor. Rene was the foreman so he stood up top shouting at Rene and I down in the hole.

I did some hitchhiking through Mexico and Central America in 1976 that helped to keep the language alive in my brain. I was trying to get to Venezuela but I got stuck in Panama.
Do u get a large pecan harvest every fall? I bet the squirrels swarm like flies around that time.
Some years are good and some years none. Several years ago recently I picked up 195 pounds of nuts in the shell. We're hoping for a crop this year because the last couple bags of that bumper crop are in the freezer
2 beers would be nice start, but i might need to augment the drinks selection with some nice fire water and ice tea
Hope you like bourbon.
Watch out for Harbaugh. He eats boogers when he's behind an underdog.

Hey buzz et al 👍💨 Skipped McDonald's last night, went to whole foods and hit up the food bar hot and cold...grilled yellow squash, falafel, samosas. Anyone eat Indian food? Could go for Aloo paratha, aloo tiki, raitha, vindaloo, basmati, naan. I learned Indian from the menu and ordering when I was younger. Until I got horrible diarrhea and never went back there. namaste.

Buzz it's really interesting that you learn Spanish I majored in like mesoAmerican studies but I never learned Spanish my foreign language was German. I picked up some book in Spanish about the conquest of New Spain it was really cool. I recently taught myself the Korean alphabet and a few phrases as well as the Russian alphabet and the Greek alphabet next step is Latin I know some Latin but not much just some terms

Sounds like u boys need to hit up the asian massage parlors. Get a nice massage and then ask for 'extras' afterwards. Say "me love you long time" in a chop-socky voice, i bet theyll love that and ask to marry you for a green card. That's when you get the sex for free.

Yeah I totally thought Pops got 'popped' for 'addressing' the homeless problem and that's why he went missing for a few months. Glad to see u havent been caught yet Pops, u must be hiding those bodies real deep.

I hear ya on the grilling and the smoke, sometimes if im not careful i feel like i just smoked 5 cigarettes with all the charcoal smoke blowing into my face. You try to avoid it with the wind but ur always going to inhale a little.

Hey hawk how would ninjas hide bodies back in the day? Asking for a friend.

Keenan is a top 5 WR when he's getting plenty of targets and he's healthy so this is a great deal for the bears, they have 2 legit WRs now (DJ moore and keenan allen). He's on the last yr of his contract, getting paid 23M this year (top WR's are getting 27+) so he'll probably want a fat extension soon but he's turning 32 in a month so bears have to be careful not to overpay for declining performance.

So youve had the grill less than a week and u already hate it, Hawk? Lol, u going to upgrade to a full size kettle grill? Or a propane one? I guess propane ones are quicker and easier to get going, although u lose the taste of the wood smoke.

Yeah Buzz i figured that was what the mower deck was but man sounded like u had to dissemble half of the entire machine in order to get to the belt. Hopefully that's only a once very few years type of maintenance.
Yep that's how u pick up a 2nd language, have to get immersed in it with native speakers in order to really get comfortable with it.
And u did the Pan American highway down to south america, but u stopped in central america? What a trip that is. There might be people doing it full time, going south for the winter and north in the summer. I think a lot of people living full time on boats do the same? Although i guess around the equator it's pretty much summer all the time...

That's good ur trying to eat a bit healthier, DB, i think most Indians are vegetarians (ovo-lacto so theyll eat eggs and dairy) so it's a pretty healthy diet, maybe avoid the foods/spices that will set your stomach off however.

Thats a good question baba. Believe it or not it was rare for ninja to kill unless it was on a battlefield. If they were doing infiltration they did there best not to be seen. If they were spotted they would try to kill as quickly and quietly as they can. If they had the time they would just hide the body out of plain site and then quickly do whatever they came to do and get the fuck out as fast as they could

Yeah the grill sucks but im gonna keep using it for a while. Dont have a reason to get something bigger unless its to cook more and save some charcoal. Fucking legs are wobbly and the threads suck so i can only tighten 3 out of 4 legs and it almost tipped over. Gonna make the ribeye soon. Maybe today. supposed to be nice out. Think im gonna season it soon

yeah hawk, get some seasoning on that meat and let it sit out and get to room temp before you put that bad boy on the grill
i was going to do some prok ribs today but need to go and get me some bbq sauce from vons, plus i need corn bread mix and some baked beans
it was supposed to rain and this morning it was looking pretty shitty, but its almost noon now and the weather looks fine
that sucks you got a wobbly leg on your grill, how hard would it be to take it back and exchange it for a different one? other just rig the shit out of it and make it work

f'yeah doob, i eat indian food
in the place i like there are several indian places and even an indian market
up the street there is even a section called little india where they have all kind of restaurants, a grocery store and a school
i like to stop by the indian market and get their snacks! fried cookies of like chick pea paste, and other weird things, just look at the pictures on the bags and have at it man
oh another thing they will have are indian foods prepackaged, so you can buy a whole lot of different things for cheap and make your own indian buffet
i need to get out and buy some soon but im kind of in the mood for pho (vietnamese soup)

i remember you mentioning traveling through mexico in your younger days buzz
that sounds like an adventure for sure and i bet it was a lot cooler then, than it is now
i took spanish as my foreign language in college but its been so long since ive really used it
i still remember a lot of words, but im still translating it back to english
we used to go to mex for surf trips and i will still watch my novelas or mexican game shows from time to time
/do they still have sabado gigante?
that sounds like a two man job taking the deck off the mower but nothing too hard
hahaha i knew barbaugh was a booger eater! that is straight up gross
they have already lost eckler and now k.allen, plus a lot of guys could be traded
but f'them and as always #f-spanos

the bears could have awhole new look to them next season so it must feel nice for the fans
k.allen is a great add and opens up a lot of options for that #9 pick
i would pass on dj moors extension, but that is just me
even if he balls out this season it would be time to move on and bring in some fresh legs
im not going full on vigilante on anyone but i just think its a huge waste of resources trying to fix a problem that cant be fixed by throwing money at it
/some people you just cant reach
other problems could be fixed if they werent wasting so much money on booger eating free loaders
/the roads, education, public safety
at least i live in a nice neighborhood so we dont have bums around my house and kids can be safe walking to school and not have to dodge the pools for puke and their other filth
they have a bunch that roam around the malls and the main parts of town but they dont really come out here like they used to
and remember the desert is filled with old mine shafts
im just saying

Good choice to skip the Clown burger place. Indian food is in my "like" category, but quality varies. Do you do any cooking, @D. B. Doober ?
Buzz it's really interesting that you learn Spanish
next step is Latin I know some Latin but not much just some terms
I had no choice but to learn down in the manhole. ;) My spanish is rusty now. I used it here when I was a grower at a commercial nursery. My crew was mostly hispanic and they appreciated that I spoke the lingo. Every morning I'd announce to my crew to load up by yelling "Vamos a la playa en el caballo blanco!" I had a white truck.
:D
And u did the Pan American highway down to south america, but u stopped in central america? What a trip that is.
Sorta kinda. I traveled with a guy from Venezuela by the name of Jesus (accent over the 'u' Jesus). We crossed into Mexico and got on board a local bus to slip past the aduana farther down the road. The officials at the aduana just glanced around the bus full of locals and waved us through. It was hard travel the farther south we went. Our destination was Venezuela. At the Nicaragua Costa Rica border we were turned away by Costa Rica because they wanted to see round trip tickets and sufficient cash to make sure a couple of hippies would not become a burden to their economy. We went back to a Nicaraguan town and we met some firefighters who gave us permission to spend the night in a fire station that was under construction. They told us about a road that went up and around the border crossing. A very heavy tropical downpour that night made us thankful for a roof. The rain turned the 'camino de pimientos' into a muddy rutted path. Red sucking mud and uncertainty was what we plowed through. We had to spend the night in a wet jungle and that's when the brilliant idea hatched. So we "lost" our passports on the spot. Our figuring was once we got into Costa Rica we could go to the capital and get new passports and continue on our way. BRILLIANT!

The morning turned into early afternoon and we were still trying to find our way back to the highway. There was a small house in the distance and the people there invited us in for some coffee. We asked how far it was to the highway and found it was only about a half mile away. We followed the path and saw the highway where a group of people gathered. They told us about a music festival in the next town called La Cruz and they invited us to come along with them when the bus came. Very nice people and we were getting back on the PanAm highway. The bus driver said he would drop us off at the best place to catch a ride. We found a seat and we spotted some familiar faces. The border guys who turned us away two days before were on the bus. We rode along until we came to an intersection and the driver motioned to us that this was the stop. We got off of the bus and so did the border guys. They walked us right across the street to the police station. LOL! No passports no record of entering Costa Rica and after several hours of questioning they loaded us into a Jeep and drove us back to Nicaraguan border. Friday night and the Nicaraguan border guys start checking their records and we are not showing up. The Jefe won't be back until Monday morning. The guest quarters we were provided was a dirt floor metal roofed windowless shack that had two bunks with a wooden mattress. In the corner was a bucket of stink for a toilet. The Jefe arrived Monday morning and our entry into Nicaragua was on record so he bought the story of losing our passports and he released us. We had to backtrack to Managua to get new ones. Thatwas a whole other adventure.

Tossing passports in the jungles of Nicaragua with the intention of getting new ones at our respective embassies in Costa Rica seemed like a good idea.
It turned out not to be.
Fucking legs are wobbly and the threads suck so i can only tighten 3 out of 4 legs and it almost tipped over.

that sounds like an adventure for sure and i bet it was a lot cooler then,
1976 was when then was in Central America. Managua was a ghost of a place because of a huge earthquake in Dec '72. Most of the central city had been destroyed and the cleanup had left blocks and blocks of bare concrete pads with only the Cathedral and a Central Bank left standing. The city had rebuilt on the surrounding upper parts of the bowl shaped terrain. It took us a couple of weeks in Managua trying to get replacement passports. Jesus and I separated when his family hooked him up with funds and a plane ticket home.

I planned to meet up with him in Venezuala but Panama was the end of the road. The Darien Gap was very much a no go zone and I was unable to catch a boat out of Colon on the east end of the Panama Canal. Nana sent me a one way ticket home.

I met some cool, kind and generous folks along the way.
