Glad you got some new flower poprocks! Tropical cherries is probably pretty good. Trek is a good bicycle...my last bike was a Trek. It lasted more than like 5 years using it every day. Hey I drove around a little today. Have until Feb 2024 to get my license...permit is good for 2 years. what are the fixing in your car hawk? i just paid close to a hundred dollars for an oil change ($70 some bucks with coupon) ; add in the subway sandwiches i had to get to sooth my jangled nerves and it come out to about $100
car repairs arent cheap, esp depending on the part, but who can fix it right the first time?

Let us know if you did end up helping your buddy out and how it all worked out, Pop. It seemed like he was somewhat reasonable afterwards and agreed to most of your requests. So long as everyone’s expectations are laid out beforehand then no one should end up disappointed or upset.

I think not having an agent doesn’t matter so much in terms of raw per year numbers, since those are pretty much set by the market (Example: I’m a top 10 player at my position, the last top 10 guy that signed a new contract made x amount per year, so I need x+1 amount per year) but it could make a difference in guaranteed money. Having 4+ yrs of a contract guaranteed is a lot better than having 2-3 yrs guaranteed, but u also want the option of voiding it in order to take advantage of higher player salaries (every yr they increase). And lamar wants a lot of guaranteed $ in his contract, like close to all of it if not 100% guaranteed. Hardly any nfl player gets that, even mahomes and josh allen didn’t get full guarantees. Kirk cousins got one from the Vikings a couple years ago and the browns were desperate enough to give one to the molester last year.

I wholeheartedly support DB’s plan to date a sugar momma and have teenage girlfriends on the side. Life goals baby. And yeah, a little bike riding is a good way to get some exercise in, get some sun and fresh air, and also low impact so easy on the joints. Keep it up DB you’ll be rocking a 6 pack this time next year, then you'll get the women crawling all over your junk.

Is the eviction process quick in Iowa, Hawk? In IL he’s probably got another 2-3 months before the sheriffs show up to kick him out, that’s after the final court date and all. Maybe he should milk it for as long as he can, because otherwise he’d have to live with u or something.

an agent is important because they will get you the best deal

That sounds like a fantastic way to live, until it all blows up on you, sugar mama finds out he’s been cheating and kicks him to the curb, 18yr old side piece turns out to be 17 and now he’s facing statutory rape charges. I was in the city a while ago, stopped by a hispanic grocery and they had a deli counter that served hot food. Got a gordita for $6.50, thought it was kind of expensive for that price but this thing was dense and packed full of chicken, very little veggies in there. So overall was a good value.

Drinking protein drinks here...can have like 5 a day. It's Premier Protein or some crap. $30. Don't notice a difference. Guess I have to go to the gay ass gym nearby to lose weight...not sure how if I'm just doing strength training. Might find some cardio other than destroying my knees on a treadmill. Trying to get high. Trying to get out there at 230 for the high school chicks that are 18...always caught up doing something. Laundry in. Didn't eat breakfast.

At 30g protein and only 160 calories each, you’ll lose a lot of weight if you drink mostly protein shakes and eat one meal a day and get daily exercise in. DB’s going to be rocking the beach body in a few months. Pop is right, any decent gym should have exercise bikes, stairmasters, ellipticals, rowing machines etc, multiple different ways to get cardio in without using a treadmill. If spin classes are free, might want to try one out DB, it can take a while to work up a sweat but a good 30-40mins in a spin class, your shirt should be soaked.
Just fyi, if you have any heart issues you’ll want to build up slowly to a decent workout, make sure you can handle the load before doing more the next day.

The gordita was made with masa/corn, think it’s fried and then sliced open and stuffed. They can get a little hard/stale once it gets old but this one was still pretty soft. And the chicken was like tamale chicken, cooked tender and well seasoned but not spicy.

You should bring some wine to jesus mountain and share the blood of Christ with the church groups. And make some unleavened bread edibles with plenty of ground up flower or hash baked in, for the body of Christ. But I guess you need some fat (butter, oil) in the edible to so it absorbs in the body more, not sure if those communion crackers have that shortening in them.

Do you think you get half your daily calories from booze, Pop? Maybe if you cut back you too could get 6 pack abs like DB will have soon.

Hey Hawk no worries you’ve got this. It would be nice to get that car working but sounds like it wont be easy so if it takes a while to get to it then so be it.
Didn’t know that was a thing, giving out samples of liquor at grocery stores. I think ive been to a hyvee before but we don’t really have any of those around here. If they give out booze samples then that’s a pretty cool grocery, but they were probably pretty strict on limiting each person to just 1.
I didnt know national beer day was a thing, too bad bars or liquor stores don’t celebrate it with good sales or specials. Like get a beer for 5 cents, same as the prohibition price.

That spaghetti looks pretty darn good, a very meaty looking sauce, not just a bunch of noodles and ketchup. Is that grated parm and diced up squash in there? I guess you could put a lot of veggies in a pasta sauce, not just onions carrots celery (mire piox). The paper plate ghetto-fies it, but the food itself looks righteous.

i went to this plce called bevmo once and they had beer tastings
you had to pay a buck or two from what i recall
noone was interested so when i walked up the guy waived the normal fee and let me drinka couple for free just to get the crowd started
f'n in tx there was a store where you could walk in and buy a drink, like a real drink and then walk around the store with your drink on your cart
they even had cup holders for your glass on the shopping carts! and there was a spot you put the glass at as you leave

i often use paper plates for simple things or things i know will be messy so i dont have to clean them

I think the only time ive gotten free beer was in Milwaukee at the miller brewing factory tour. That was pretty cool, but we spent money on little appetizer plates at the end along with the free beer.
Leave it to Pops to break the ice and get the open bar started up proper. You ever act as a bartender at a party? I think you’d be good at it, Pops.

That’s cool TX has a liquor store/bar. We have a chain of liquor stores around here called binnys and at least one location they have a tasting room/bar, never indulged tho, just get my booze and get out.

Paper plates are convenient for sure, sometimes I wish I had some for just quick snacks. And ur right, washing dishes can be a pain, especially when you do a lot of cooking and eating at home. And at least theyre better than plastic plates, I hear most of the supposed plastic recycling doesn’t really happen, it all goes to the landfill same as any other garbage.

2-3 oz of vodka has about as many calories as a can of soda (150cal). There’s about 60oz in a handle 1.75L, so a handle of vodka is like drinking a case (24 cans) of coke, or 3600 calories, which is almost 2 days worth. So it’s a significant amount of calories, but it has no carbs so maybe marginally healthier than beer.

i had like 4 different samples and probably could of got more but didnt want to push my luck.it was jack daniels peach,apple flavor something else and jaegermeister.they were having a sale.they were probably overstocked and trying to get rid of it.they had JD honey flavor too but that shits gross.i could of got ashot of that but i didnt want it.ive been to Binnys baba.their all over dupage.i been to the one in Naperville

the spag had mushrooms,yellow squash,zucchini turkey meat and i dont remember if there was something else.wish i had some bell peppers to put in it.i was gone for a day and my mom gave it to the dog!a bunch of it.i was really hungry too.she can be a real jerk sometimes.took me a while to make.only had one plate of it too.

my sink is full of plates cause my mom is nuts when it comes to dishes.i dont know how but she can fill a a whole sink in a day or 2.i usualy use one cup.one fork or spoon and one plate.she wont even rinse a cup or plate and use it again she just dumps it in the sink and use another one.pisses me off.so those are good paper plates so im gonna use them when theres no room in the sink.we have a dishwasher but refuses to use one.she has never used it so her excuse is she doesnt know if it works.she learned that bullshit from my grandma.so our dishwasher is full of dishes we will never use.its just the 2 of us but we have enough goddamn dishes for 2 or 3 families.it really pisses me off.shes fucked in the head.im not gonna do her fucking dishes if shes just gonna keep piling them for no reason.and i gotta quit drinking for certain reasons so im particulary pissed off today.i got 4 beers left and im gonna do my damndest to quit but im gonna be particulary pissed off today.

Yeah alcohol has a ton of calories, plus I think it makes you more bloated in the face from dehydration and inflammation. And it can cause a craving for fatty foods cause the liver will breakdown the alcohol for calories first over food. There’s all sorts of health reasons to cut back on drinking, but if youre able to handle it well enough then more power to you. You and Hawk seem to have livers made of steel. But nothing good lasts forever.

Styrofoam makes a stiffer container than paper, also it's more insulating, I like a Styrofoam coffee cup better than paper, but ur right it’s got its own disadvantages. Like u said it can melt if you put sizzling hot food in it, and it’s not good to microwave food in.

Were the samples full shots, Hawk, like 1oz each or just little sips? I actually didn’t mind that jd honey flavor, ur right it’s too sweet but imo wasn’t any worse than any other flavored liquor ive had. I think making ur own infused vodka is pretty easy if you have the time and patience.

Jagermeister is an acquired taste for sure. I think some people drop a shot of it into a beer and chug it, it’s called a Jager-bomb. Anything to dilute the taste I guess. I once bought a bottle of it ages ago, and still had the same bottle years later that’s how much I liked it haha. Although I wasn’t a big drinker at the time either.

Rodgers has pretty much said he wants out of GB, and most packers fans are ready to roll with jordan love this year. It was a great relationship while it lasted, he won a superbowl and 4 mvp’s, maybe the only knock would be they should have won another title or 2 but their defense wasn’t up to snuff – hard to win a playoff game when u give up 35 pts, even with Rodgers as ur QB.

If lamar sits out he would be giving up 32M this year (the amount of the franchise tag for QBs). I know he wants a 45M or more per year deal, same as the other top QBs, but he’s “only” made 10M total in the 4 yrs he’s played so far, it would be nice to make 3x that in one year. But like Pops with his truck and labor, lamar knows his worth and is sticking to it.

Hawk is right, I think the trend is for not keeping people in jail, especially for non-violent offenses (drugs and such). Plus there were lawsuits a few years ago claiming that the cash bail system discriminates against the poor and minorities, so more judges/jails nowadays will release people without having to post cash.

Veggies in pasta sauce is a good way to make it healthier and heartier, im gonna have to try that next time, maybe dice up some zucchini and throw that in. I think the whole stirring pasta sauce for hours helps to reduce the sauce, make it thicker, and also activates the sugar as it breaks down the meat/tomatoes so it becomes less acidic.
This article says you can simmer sauce from a jar for 15 mins to make it better, also adding butter (?) and herbs to make it more like homemade.

Ground lamb sounds like it would be hard to find outside of a middle eastern grocery but ground pork should be somewhat easy to get, I don’t think ive ever made real Italian meatballs in a sauce but they are super tender when I get them in restaurants.
