Newbie needs advice on flip

I don't want to sound lame or corny but can sommeone please explain what I need to flip\flop besides extra light bulbs. What are the pro's using. thxs

are you on about flipping the lights???

that just means to put the lights to 12/12 so the plants can flower......

If you're talking about a flip/flop configuration of flowering, not just normal force flowering, than you need a flip/flop device, and an exact copy of your original room. Extra bulbs, extra plants, extra hoods, extra fans, extra buckets/nutes/water you get the picture.

if you are talking about a flip flop as I know em, you'd have two different rooms with each one running copycat setups basically, when one is lights on, the other is off.

this allows you to run more lights off the same outlets if your power doesn't allow for more.

this does NOT allow you to run more lights on at the same time, it would cost the same as if running all the bulbs straight 12/12 instead of half the bulbs on for 12, then the other half on for the remaining 12 hrs in the day..


if you are referring to flipping just as in switching to flower, all you need is a timer set to 12 hrs on/12hrs off..... dont need extra bulbs to do that.
