I preach no toppin/fim`n plants in a vertical setup ......why ?.....Plants grow differently with bare bulbs and get bushier sideways anyways , plus if they bush too far and get in another plants personal space , they gotta be hacked out and that causes recovery time if too much is cut back........that said P.......

It ain`t necessarily when the plants stop vertical growth cuz some Indica dominant strains stretch more sideways than up with bare bulbs , although it is about vertical growth on most hybrids.........and.....

Once the plants have completely stopped putting out roots and foliage and are in full swellage mode , the plants`ll start drinkin more and you`ll see resin forming on the sugar leaves closest to the colas from survival mode.......then.....

That`s when yas start takin the big fans first , and progress over a several day to a week period till everything with a stem is gone and all random residuals when/if they pop up till end of cycle .......and what does this do ?.....

It diverts vital plant energy away from keepin nuthin ass leaves alive that`ll yellow up , die and fall off anyways.......and.....the big fans are where excess nitrogen is stored in the plants , so.....

If you get rid of their ass it`s waaay easier for the plant to cannibalize itself in the last week or so before Harvey by dwindling ppm`s down to tapwater levels or below........

NEVER starve your plants of any nutrient P.......I ran 750 ppm`s/1.5 ec till the last week or so and then started toppin off with H20 and had excellent consistent results........aight.....

Im thinking about going donut next round and im going whitewidow x the ultimate & Euforia... What kind of plants should I be looking for?
I guess I should defoliate my current (first) regular scrog alot more.. Guess no harm will come to them after reading this
