Hey everyone this is my first post on here or any forum so sorry if i rant a lil bit lol im currently a novice noob lol.. ive made it through two grows with coco with very solid results but am now wanting to also try a soil mix outdoors in my greenhouse this summer.. so i am deciding to grow outside and to grow autod for the first time. I just have a few ?s before i jump into this... are there any probs with running a happy frog mix with autos?? Has anyone used flowertabs by nirvana with autos? If so are they any good?? Also i was thinking of using either 2 or 3 gal containers preferably 2 gal to keep em a lil short and hidden amongst my other veggies... finally i have recently made a few rain barrels at my house and have collected a good amount the past few days i know i can use this to water but do i have to add calmag to this like i do with distilled water??? Jopefully someone out there can help me out and give me sound advice i know theres manyany of u that know more than me lol..... o n i just realized i forgot to mention that i will be running nirvanas blue mystic and northern lights autos

This is not facebook. :)

Please try to use the enter key from time to time. Walls of text get slower responses around here. :)

Happy frog is a good soil. Any good soil that works with cannabis will work with auto-cannabis.

Never used flowertabs.

Adding cal/mag depends on your nutrients. Maxibloom and nutes mixed according to the Lucas Formula have plenty of calcium and magnesium and don't require any cal/mag. No idea what flowertabs have for calcium and magnesium. Yes, there are some mag-hungry strains around that need a pinch of epsom for the mag.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

Hi Jonnyboi51,
I too am new to both the mag and auto flowers.
I am growing Little Dwarf, Spirit Haze, AK Passion, Northern Force and to replace the Notorious White that failed, I started Blue Invader.
Hope to exchange our successes and failures so we can become better growers :)

I use diluted Epsom salts in water about every 4th watering. Something about magnesium that promotes lush growth aside from diluted nutrients for grow/flower. Don't see as much advantage in flowering. Like C. Pool's BR 61 for blooming. Outrageous! Easy compared to the 2-part or 3 -part fertilizers.

Just allow to dry some top soil. I poke holes in soil (using 3-5-7 gallon buckets) for extra oxygen. Just don't hit w/ mega strength fertilizer, standing water to evaporate chorine. Check soil/water pH if you see something squirrely going on.
