You know... I may not be the best grower in the world, and I might not have very good plants or plant shots.. but I think this is a tad ridiculous.. everyone is gettin helped around here.. but yet nobody wants to give me a few pointers... ive got 30 views at my thread and not one post besides myself. what the hell...

what the hell indeed. 30 views is nothing, it was probably just 10 people who looked at the thread 3 times because you kept posting too it. All 10 of those people probably had no useful adivce so they kept their mouth shut rather than make something up. Trust me, people aren't trying to ignore you....

Chill, someone knowlegeble will chime in.

Hey man chill out and be patient..alot of threads get missed.
There is one thing you havent mentioned..PH..what is it at..your plants look very stunted..everything else about your set-up sounds fine..So what is your PH???
Also how are your roots lookin are they down into the water yet do you have suffficient bubbles from you airstone?

You indicate a PH range that doesn't sound any alarms but the only time I have experienced this (curly curved leaves) was when my PH was way out. The yellowing in the lower leaves also would appear to indicate a defeciency more than likely from PH related nute lock out. There is a pretty good thread here that shows some images of the different defeciencies. Check that out first. The leaves are yellowing from the posterior edges with the veins still green=???

May be your test reagents are bad and your ph IS off?

Keep us updated.

I know this is probably way out of my leauge since I have yet to have a successful grow, but what about nute burn? The tips of the leaves look fairly yellow.

Also are the roots getting enough water? How high up is your water level? Are they in the water yet or still getting splashed?

My water level is half way up to the netpots... also... yes i did do things recently... I 1... Dropped the hood...went vertical...
2. added more nutes.... but those new leaves are starting to curl like the others.. evrything else is still the same..

Dropped the hood...went vertical...

What hood?
What went vertical? Bulb?
How close is the bulb to plants?

Nute burn generally fries the tips first, but not always.

^what he said

get your RH up!
is your meter calibrated?

i doubt that dropping the hood caused the new growth to look better :D

lower the water level to one inch above the bottom of the pot if roots arent hanging out of it yet. If they are in rockwool cubes and you have the water level half way up the cubes are definitley soaked and probably causing your problem as you only want them moist. If they are take them out shake out excess water and put back into you medium.

Ok... i dropped MY AIR COoLED hood.... and i have the bulb about 2 ft away ... my plants are nOt in rockwool....also... yes i belive my meter is calibrated... and my RH is about 30% right now... is that still bad?

50% RH at least! wet towel, etc...
i'd lower your lights to ca. 12-13inches.
I would make sure that my meter is calibrated, whats the point to have a meter that isn't?
how much pH down do you add?
