How about you stop trying to stroke a broken ego? Why are you still responding to this thread?

Blackvelvet couldnt call out a copper def if his crackho dependent life was on the line.
And no he hasnt grown a MJ plant in his life.. if he did he would know how rare a copper def is.

That's light burn alright, looks like it got way too much light way too close & definately got heat burn on the leaves. Did the bulb ever make contact with the plant? It looks like it might have.
Don't worry about it dude, it's not rocket science, you don't need to go through the pains of BV's horsecrap formula---It's not deficient, just burned a little. It'll recover just fine, just don't keep your lights that close anymore.
Impairment of lignin synthesis resulting from the lack of two cu containing enzymes phenolase and laccase. Basically, there is inadequate development of the xylem that conducts water within the plant.Blackvelvet said:Just for fun , anybody that can explain why copper deficiency causes plant tops to wilt gets positive rep. (yes, i have the answer...)
pablito said:well actually they did get pretty close but i moved the light since. I thought about it because of the leaves being so brown in such a short time but I didn't know heat could actually make those light green patches. Now that I think of it the only plant that has the problem is the one right under the lamp which makes sense...
MTF-Sandman said:Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he already figured out it was from the plant growing into the light...
If ya'll wanna bicker, please don't clutter up peoples threads who need some help...it reminds me of the drunk wife beater getting into a screaming match with his "nappy headed ho" in the streets - just no class IMO. Sorry, had to take my opportunity to use that phrase
HazeToker said:This statement is true. While I dont want to clutter threads with bullshit. One can not come in a thread and mislead a guy to thinking this is a COPPER def! or mag or K or whatever he feels like calling out at the moment. Am I and several others wrong for correcting this type of false info?
Blackvelvet said:Surprisingly, I think everyone is right on this one. The plants are low in copper but not showing trouble yet. Like I mentioned before, copper def usually occurs in summer. The warmth from the light enhanced the problem in the tops. So copper def/"light burn" occured. If light burn were just the problem, why are the tops wilted? Light burn usually creates bleaching where large patches turn white. Or even burn if your into that. But these plants are showing interveinal chlorosis like magnesium deficieny in the tops. And, leaf tips are still green in alot of the leaves affected. Why do the leaf tips go round and round like a pigs tail? Look at picture 3. And also as mentioned before, the plants may recover without help but I might expect these symptoms to reoccur sometime in the future. Move the affected plant farthest from the lamp and see what happens. Please give us an update sometime. Peace. Velvet
Since your so plant wise haze toker, what would copper deficient plants look like or appear? Lmao. I would lovvvvvvvvve for you to respond to this one.HazeToker said:Cmon man! Its over for you once again. I will have fun picking out your next handle
