Green machines continue to grow. Day 11 since flip. Small buds starting. Very stretchy... I still think there is 2 weeks left. Once stretch is over l will increase light to 50 percent. Happy summer!😺🌄

Nice work Bombay

Canopy is looking nice and even, great job with the tuck n weave on the net. That's good use of the horizontal space
How is the stretch compared to last run. a bit more?

Looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks, they look super healthy

Hey!! Thank you chrono! They are pretty healthy. So far so good. One of my goals is to keep them green. I'm trying not to even get the tips burnt. The soil mix is good.

The stretch is comparatively crazy. Wow!! A few more inches since the last post even. Difficult to maintain canopy. I'm hoping they stop stretch soon. They are already as tall or taller than last grow. Still room in the tent. I guess that's the Panama. I will defoliate the lower soon. New learning as always.

I hope you are yours are well and enjoying the summer 🐱!!🌄

chronosync Hey thanks man! Hope your summer is going well!!🐱 Did your zkc dry yet? Mine is still drying/curing.

The plants seem good do far. I will need to move them out of tent for a bit. Hopefully this will not mess up flower. I think l can sqeek by though. I knew going in and just didn't want to miss the window. I will defoliate and topdress when l move them.

The genetics are great. These are stretchy plants deluxe.

LookThank you for the encouragement as always!

Shaka, when the walls fell. I did not sqeek by. Day 45 flower. Week 6.5(ish).

I put the plants in living room for friend to water. Some bad things happened. Not caused by friend😺!!

During 2 week away. Humidity, high temps, low light and lack of circulation did them in. Catastrophic biomechanical failure ensued.🙀😿

Here are a couple pics.

Many many leaves also fell and many had a failure Ike the leaf in last picture.

So it's been a few days. The plants are doing as well as can be expected. I'm assuming yield is super low. However, on the plus side, there will be something and that will give me a sense of Panama. Also, the leaves that feel and that remain were green with no light burn. Great takeaway there with respect to light, soil mix and managing stretch.

I put them back in tent and will decide next steps in coming days.

Wow in first pictures the look can break your heart. At least they recovered pretty good from what I can see and you can finish them.

Look at the bright side, they aren't dead and you had your vacation

I bet at least part of your mind was always on your plants, I know I couldn't leave with plants alive in the house and even if I left I would not enjoy at all due to anxiety.

Good to see you back and hope you had a great time.

JustGrowing420 Ha Ha!!! Yep, just like the Willie Nelson song. 😸 I knew that break would happen going in but didn't want to miss the opportunity to grow! Still some good lessons learned and as you say they are alive. They have about 4 weeks to go. Do you think the buds might get a bit bigger? Wishful thinking...🐱
Thanks for checking them out!

Hehe, they look a bit slim yeah. 4 weeks is not too short of time, I think they will be a lot better than now, of course not like if they were healthy all along.

As you said you will experience at least the different phenos and store it in your memory, if you like it enough you can try again in the future.

Have you kept clones of them?

Also you can start planning some kind of watering system for when you go away, so you can leave them inside the tent.
Blumats or something similar maybe?

Just some thoughts.

Enjoy the rest of the ride and don't worry too much, it's all a big lesson until we get the hang of it, I had lots of trouble too even though I didn't leave at all.

JustGrowing420 Well, that they might get larger is good news! I'll post a couple pics down the road and a smoke report.

I have never cloned yet. Though it looks like a good skill to have. I may try that in a couple of grows.

The water thing is a great idea and l will look at that.🌄 Don't leave home much.

Your grow is crazy amazing. I know you are having some issues. How tall are those stakes? That's really cool that you can get them to grow like that. I hope your final results are great also.🐱 I wish l had the experience to offer a suggestion.

I find navigation a bit difficult on the site. I find something then manage to get out of site and can't remember how to get back to page.

Here are a couple from today.

I have very limited knowledge too so as I said just thoughts, don't count too much on my words.
I just think it is nice to make some conversation or express thoughts since it seems not many people look at others' diaries or care to comment much.

There are some really good threads on cloning on the site. I have tried with root riots and rooting gel this far, but got some perlite to experiment with that medium also. Mostly it's variety dependent how good they root from my small experience.
Of course with the right method you can get better success rates with more difficult varieties.

That bud on the close up picture seems about ready, I would think less than 4 weeks for sure if it were mine?

Growing sativas has been a very humbling experience, it's like a whole different kind of plant. I really feel like I don't know anything anymore.

The poles are 1.8m but I cut them depending on the plant.
Thanks for the kind words although in my eyes my grow is pretty bad.
A bit more than 10 weeks since flip and only half the plants flowering means I have done something really really wrong.
See what I mean? take my words with a big grain of salt (or a handful maybe).

The more you navigate the forums it will be easier, you can always subscribe to interesting threads so you don't lose them no matter how old and buried in the back pages they are.

Thanks for kind words and checking them out. The light is 480 watts. I can't imagine using that much wattage. I tried 75 percent light at 36 "and after about 3 days the tips burned and now there is some leaf yellowing. Having a time with dialing in the light. Do you think they are too powerful?

Thank you for measurement. It's all good! Humbling experience for sure but fun at same time. My goal is to grow cannabis that makes me motivated 😸 and gives a mood boost. I can't find that in the smoke from dispensary. A friend told me that the Panama has some good vibes.

Still waiting for my Congo Kali and GT to cure. I vape it and it is a go getter at first. Looking to Hazes after this grow. I have great hopes for this ACE gear. 🧞

I sure hope that your plants flower. From sounds of it all is good except light leak. Wish l had more to contribute to that.

Interesting re bud being close. I will loupe it tomorrow. Maybe catastrophe made them mature earlier.

Better late than never 😸! I did decide to let them grow out. Harvested back in late September. The yield was affected by the summer incident. The smoke is okay. Still curing.
