... so while I am waiting for round 1 to cure. About 4 weeks. LED 240 watts at 26". Promix etc, mix. Pots are shy of a gallon in size. I have topped them once and they are on leaning to one side because of training. There is probably a better way to train. One leaf tip burned by T5 bulb. The dark green tells me there is a lot of N in the soil. They seem healthy though. Fingers crossed!

Summertime is here along with it's bugs!
Great start! You should have popped a haze hybrid too to explore together haha

LEDs seem to do a fine job of keeping sativas compact, I'm pretty happy with how mine turn out while stretching.
Plants look pretty uniform also! The one on the left looks like a monster already though.

Hey! I wish l had a haze in there also!! I have some purple haze x Malawi and Banghi Haze ACE seeds. Maybe try the purple next grow! I want to grow some of that KA5H haze now.

I'm still working on figuring my light out. I am trying to keep the plants roughly equal. The bugs are from when l had them outdoors for a moment during transplant. Should change those! That one on left is unruly!

Off to the races!
Off to a great start as well. Ive heard good things (very good) about the panama and its outcrosses. In particular panama x malawi - very trippy and heady but with lots of warmth and love -yours are going to be along the same lines i bet.

chronosync Hi Chrono!! That description would be the right prescription for me!! We live in hope.😺Yes, excited to grow more. My goal is to keep them green and contained. I have to study the training more. I'm really curious about the use of calmag as described by Harley at NPK university. I was looking at the feed schedule they use for the NPK brand of cal mag and wondering if l should try it with regular calmag. I don't want to inadvertently create a lock out situation. He describes using it though as a yield booster. Hope you are well!

doing good, thanks!

look for a user on here - *Slownickel
hes all about calcium and probably has some good methods for getting it to the plant via soil inputs, which is probably your best bet. Id be hesitant to just throw calcium at them without talking to someone who already does that in a similar medium. Maybe try to see what other soil growers are doing for calcium. Now lots of growers are making the transition to led so its sure to be a big topic on here sooner or later. Also check out *dank.Frank on here if you can find his posts in organic soil mixes and check out his current grow. That guy knows whats up.

you could look for top dressed amendments that you can add during flower, im not sure whats good for that. Egg shells in vinegar will make Calcium acetate which is immediately available to plants but i have no idea how to implement it.

theres a certain ratio that needs to be in check otherwise, like you said, lockouts occur
K-Ca-Mg ratio of 4-2-1. I looked that up quickly so you might want to double check and definitely look into that

seems to me like if you add calcium and magnesium you might want to buffer with a bit of k but then again you dont want to run yourself in circles

As with maintaining proper vpd and perfect humidity dont lose sight of the other stuff just fixing one parameter

-hope some of that rambling helps
cheers!

Hey Chrono,

Thank you as always! Not rambling at all. I will research that more. That material will be great to review. If l ammend- it will be an add to the 5 gallon pots when l transfer. I need to really remind myself to just concentrate on fundamentals right now.🌟😺

These plant stems get woody(?) quickly, so training needs to happen on an ongoing basis. I topped them again and they were showing signs of deficiency in early leaves, so l top dressed them. As you would say, 'they just want to grow'! 😺 I believe I could transfer them now to the 5 gallons and they would probably explode out! The internodal spacing is not tight now! 🎄 So I will try and keep shaping them in the small pot and then flip the switch with the transfer to 5 gallon. So now l know the power of these plants!! Grateful that l have that grow under my belt to anticipate somewhat.

Thanks again! My best to you and your garden! 😸👍🌄🧞🎄

They look super healthy and look amazing in the sunlight.
Nice job training them for a level canopy, have you flipped them yet?

chronosync Hey Chronosync!! Thank you and great to hear from you 😸! I miss visiting your tent.

Yes, l will transplant and flip in next couple of days. They are growing like mad!

I hope you and yours are doing well and that garden is healthy!!

So transplanted yesterday into 5 gallon pots. Will switch to flower tomorrow. The pots they were in are 6" X 5.5 wide. Plants are about 12 - 13 inches high. Less than a gallon in those pots. Scrog is at the ready! Let's see them flower!

Maybe veg them a bit more so they fill the space real good? whatever you feel comfortable with, just a suggestion.

👍😸 Very tempting to do that!!! They will get away from me! Jack and the Beanstalk scenario. 2nd grow and still très nervous about that. Not out of question though for a grow and l completely see why you would suggest that! 😸 I might try some topping during the stretch.

hehe, yeah don't listen to me, if you look at my tent, I am ready to have some issues too in a little while :)

Better to be safe than find last minute solutions to problems, but me, personally I can't help it... I always keep wondering, will they use all the available space? I hate it when there is wasted space, something tasty could grow right there.... but also if your harvest is enough to last you until the next one, it's all good

Thanks man! There will be SOME sort of show for sure! At this time trying to get a timer to work! 😹 Will do 11.5 hours. My light is still at 25 percent. So 120 watts. No yellow tips yet except a couple that touched T5.

JustGrowing420 LOL!😹 My limited experience has taught me that there will always be issues with grows!! Most caused by me! 😸 I really don't know enough yet to predict what will happen in tent. If they double in size that alone will be crazy. Your grows are awesome 🔥💚 and the varieties so interesting. I am with you on building your own stash.
