I haven't ran a grow on IC in a while but this should be worth checking out (hopefully!). I recently gained access to some new space and am in the process of outfitting the exhaust/ducting and getting everything up and running so very soon my flowering capabilities will be a 1000w hps on a light mover for a hydrohut deluxe (4'x8'x7' high) which will be running 30 or so 3 gal ladies in a promix blend and also an 8' x 8' room with two 600w digi hps on light rails running smaller girls. It will be some time before everything is up to 100% operationally as i'm planning a staggered harvest where plants will be cut down every 2 weeks or once a month to cut down on the amount of trimming that must be done at one time and ensure a steady flow of buds. The purpose of the rooms designed as such is to figure out the most efficient way to maximize harvests (much smaller plants or big bushes?).
Anyway, thanks to my new friends on ic who I was lucky enough to hang out with recently, I have many choices for strains THANKS!!!!!! I had quite a seed collection previously but was ripped off in a bad living situation but that was time past and things are a lot sunnier now .
Okay, so the choices...

The first run will be mainly a test run to decide which plants to keep as my future mothers but will be an awesome mixed harvest. I've also started 15 random heady bagseeds that have been accumulated by a good friend for testing.
Oh, and why no sulfur burners??? I recently invested in one as a preventative measure against pm and insects and I was awoken at 3 am while staying over at the location by an incredibly good but incredibly loud fire alarm!! The area was filled with sick sulfur gas and I had to mask my face with a piece of cloth and run into the cloud to determine what had happened. The sulfur had somehow caught on fire and had a 3-4" flame jetting out of the top. Good thing I HUNG IT WITH A METAL CHAIN WELL BELOW THE POLY CEILING. If that hadn't been the case I surely would not be writing this right now. The flame was almost impossible to put out and I had to keep running in and out of the burning sulfur cloud to take breaths . I talked to the guy from the manufacturer who informed me there must be some impurity in the sulfur prills to just flame up like that (I followed the instructions to a t) and subsequently is giving me some free stuff . He was awesome and really nice and had never heard of this happening before (just a fluke I guess). Next day I find my seedlings bleached from the sulfur o.d. . I had to cull one and other ones are pulling through slowly. It really sucked though. Anyway, I still think there are situations where the burners are excellent and I know people who have run them for years without a hitch but please use CAUTION with them.
Sulfur damage on plants
Anyway I'll get more pics of the setup up soon when I get that done and we'll aim for having some big plants start flowing in about 3 weeks. Until then, peace, dr.snow
