Garden doing well.
strawberries
peas and nasturtium
beans and lettuce
rhubarb, corn, squash.
@Creeperpark, getting around to temperatures nearing 90*F, i remember your concern about higher temps. the metal did not get so hot but the frame on these beds (painted dark) did get hot enough to burns leaves on the nasturtium. i'm figuring on painting the tops of the frames with white to avoid that next year.
on the indoor, they've quit the stretch and are beginning to stack.
planted right back into the trough.
the lights are good, temps good, soil performing well, and plants loving it.
have a bit of comparison going on between the trough and the planters i've been using for the last decade. you can see the difference in size below.
all the same seeds, started at the same time and transplanted at the same time.
root-space making the difference. the soil is the same as i mixed enough for both applications.
these have but one month more to flower and will surpass one gpw i got last run. (twice the # of plants of last run).
still experimenting.
