New Pistil Growth

Hello friends. This is not a big deal but was curious if anybody has seen or experienced this. I’ve got a few plants in pots outdoors and a few of them have started pushing out new pistils. We had a cold snap a few weeks ago followed by a weeklong heat wave and the plants seem to be going back in to new flower mode. The buds were starting to plump with pistils starting to wither but after the heat wave it looks like they’re putting out a new flush. Not too concerned about it as its back to normal fall weather though may get a few more hot days.

You can see in the photos below that were taken about a week apart, the one on the left is sporting new pistils from the bud tips. Not the best shots but I hope you can see what I'm talking about. Just curious of any thoughts and I guess I can’t complain…more goodness.

They are hybrids with some sativa in them, I was just surprised by the second wind they got. Probably is weather related. Ha, ha, Thanksgiving finish I hope not. They definitely will have to be to brought in if that’s the case, they’re in pots. I’ve grown one of them before and seemed to finish around mid October but that was with a normal weather pattern. I wish I could get better pictures but my phone just doesn’t do close ups well.

Harvested an Apollo yesterday because she had no all-white pistils.

Clusters of brachs & white pistils indicates growth & weight/resin gain.

As long as mold is not present (i.e. visible) ... I let the plants with new growth, keep growing.
