New picture size rules ?

Hello all,

As someone who appreciates a faster loading page I think posting full size images in the thread is a bit overbearing.

To click on it and load it ina sperate window is my preference.

But as to IC paying the bill, this is a business I am sure, those ad banners are not free.

This is a advertising tool. Has to be, else what motivation is there to expend the energy and time and money on it.

Please, don't inundate me with how far the backs of the people running IC are bending over. I are sure they are well compensated.

And for those that work for free (moderators I think are some), then its no loss on your part but your time.

Why isnt this thread in Website support? I dont think it was a good idea to change the picture size because you cant see the full image you intended for everyone to see and even when you click on the image it still stays the same size.I enjoy taking pictures and enlarging them for everyone to see because simply it looks alot better.I hope things are changed back to normal..below you can see how the picture change has affected me..Peace

Trying to suggest a comparison using two different shots is disingenuous at best. Beyond that, the after pic is a far superior illustration than the before. All the info in less space. Less disruptive of the reading process. The bigger one shows more leaf damage not because of the size but because of the angle it was shot at.

I have to say, the sense of self entitlement here is disappointing.
